2020 Gander Outdoor Truck Series

It's crazy to think that Crafton has 3 championships and only 14 wins.
Well, the Trucks do have the shortest season, and until recently Cup drivers poached a lot of wins.

Still, I'm with @Team Penske. Consistency will get you a long way in this sport, and I applaud rewarding it.

Derek Kraus is full-time with a new team McAnally-Hilgamann Racing:

With HRE support to boot wow! Lets see how McAnally deals with a bit more competition as well.

I hear he has outstanding hauler drivers.

That means almost every full-time driver is gonna make the playoffs.
Its not bad.

Between ThorSport and GMS that is about eight trucks.

Niece has one, DGR-Crosley has two (FRR included), Halmar-Friesen, Hattori, McAnally will be competitive, NEMCO (If they get a full-time driver), and KBM with about three competitive trucks.

About 17 trucks will be gunning for 10 slots, that's not bad with the new entry teams included. Gives more of an opportunity for the new teams to get into the door.

Eh more publicity for more teams.. maybe. It's like the other two series, guys that squeak into the last couple of spots usually don't get out of the first round, and sometimes it gets interesting when one of them does bat above their average.

Love seeing all of this good news regarding potentially competitive entries into the Truck Series. Here for the last few years, it looked like the bottom was waiting to fall out, with few drivers outside of the playoffs running a full-time schedule. Even so, it's been an entertaining series, and more competitive trucks and drivers can only serve to make it even better!

Tate Fogleman will replace Dippel in the 02. Dippel will compete in dirt track racing this year.
