Enea Bastianini and Albert Arenas are the two other world champions. 3 riders battled it out in the final Moto3 race and four riders still had a shot at the Moto2 title.
Luca Marini led most of the Moto2 race but lost to first-time winner Remy Gardner at the end. Both Marini and Sam Lowes could have won the championship with a race victory. After his 3rd-place-finish(!), Lowes admitted he was racing with two broken bones in his right hand after last week's practice crash.

This was definitely a strange year in MotoGP, with the absence of Marquez, the resurgence of Suzuki, the struggles of Yamaha with their engines. So many different winners, with no one approaching season-long domination, but in the end, the sweet handling of the Suzukis winning the championship. This year reminded me of 2000, which also had no dominant player but Suzuki taking the title (Kenny Roberts Jr).

Best of luck to Dovi. I hope we will see him in MotoGP again.
