The Nürburgring 24 Hours are back this weekend and for the first time in three years, camping around the Nordschleife will be allowed.
Unfortunately only 138 cars are entered. It would be nice if the race would actually go full distance this time. Not a lot of rain in the forecast but temperatures on Sunday are predicted to be no higher than 52 degrees .

It’s great to see big crowds back at the Ring. Really strong SP9 field as usual, and really sad about the Foxtail Manta. I agree they badly need an uninterrupted race again. When it happens it’s usually very good.

Damn, I wasn't aware of that.
This race used to feature a whole lot of amateur racers, nowadays there's only a handful of "stock" cars in the field. The GT3 cars are both a blessing and a curse for this race.
