2022 XPEL 375

The steel mesh they dragged over the PJ1 lane may have worked a bit from what people are saying at the track. Hope the special lapping session puts some rubber down there and maybe we can get a respectable show.

Looking forward to this one. And then they find a way to get rid of that freaking PJ1? Awesome

Harvey rubbed the 45 in final practice yesterday and apparently did not pass concussion protocol. Ferrucci is being drafted into the 45 and will get 15 minutes of practice, their backup that’s running today is their 500 primary.

Sounds like the PJ1 is still stained. Disappointing
Sounds like the grip loss is gradual instead of instantaneous now, but yeah. My hope is there’s maybe a quarter or half of groove available to get part of your nose out there. If you just have to run in the other guy’s tracks, no bueno.

Felix just showed how long it takes to fully recover from a concussion. Some guys take years to bounce back, and some are never the same, so this is great for him.

I sure hope Harvey didn't get a head injury.

Sorry for Harvey, but glad to see Ferrucci get another chance. He's always exciting to watch on ovals.

Jimmie, Pato, and Kirkwood have made good passes on the outside that weren’t immediately after a restart. Malukas tried on the outside of Daly but got loose on exit. Overall, not terrible as expected.

Somehow Scotty gapped the lead from a few seconds to twelve seconds through that pit cycle?

Hinchcliffe is a real find for NBC. He's ending up doing part of Leigh's job for him because he's so on top of what is happening.
