They’ll be in contention, pole is just for pride and glory but it doesn’t really mean anything tangible. They definitely are quick enough to compete, execution and reliability is another thing.I was hoping BMW would be on the front row![]()

That was a solid whack the tore off a lot of bodywork, but it looks like they didn't even lose a lap.Well Peugeot took the wing off again.
Is that even realistic or a transponder issue? They're showing very little telemetry on the TV feed but it doesnt look that fast. The highest recorded top speed so far is a whopping 364.2 kmh (226.3 mph) by the #51 Ferrari. From the records available, that looks like the highest top speed recorded in-race since the Jaguar XJR-9 hit 389 kmh/241.7 mph in 1989 - before the chicanes were placed on the Mulsanne. WTF.
Everyone else in Hypercar has a top speed between 337-346 kmh so far, either they got the biggest tow ever somehow or something was off with the telemetry. Is that even realistic or a transponder issue? They're showing very little telemetry on the TV feed but it doesnt look that fast.
The 7 is my pre-test pick to win next weekend. That livery has too much aura not to win.
I believe it was the Lexus of the Hyundai brand?I didn't know Genesis is a Hyundai brand.
Everyone else in contention (Porsche, Toyota, BMW, Cadillac) seem to have come alive at night so hopefully they can jump the Ferraris on the restart. If it goes green for a similarly extended period of time, you have to build a gap before the sunrise and the prancing horses start to come back to the pack.It was getting a bit out of hand with Ferrari running away with it, so hopefully the safety car will bring some life back to the race.
I love it when teams say it wasn't a safety issue and we didn't gain an advantage. The car is still illegal. If we let you slip by with four missing screws, where do we draw the line? Oh, wait, it's already drawn right here in black and white.
