2026 ARCA Menards Series

Who knows. Fox and OR Flo are covering all of the ARCA series. I wouldn't think so. Fox might decide in conjunction with Flo like they did in the spring.

A race no matter how many cars is always the best option.

If FS-1 wants to air a race that might actually be entertaining, Flo can hand them any number of properties that will be far more enthralling than a bakers dozen field consisting of 3 decently prepped cars and a bunch of total junk that wouldn't be competitive at a vintage meet if it were driven by Jeff Gordon.

Who is excited to see 12 Gen4 cars pace around Colorado National? FS-1 could televise some tape delayed girls high school volleyball instead.

I went to All-American (Roseville) and that was actually a really good race! The LVMS bullring event to kickoff the NASCAR weekend is also a nice show; ARCA, 2 divisions of CARS tour late models, and the CARS-associated Legends tour.

Kevin Harvick is pumping a lot of money into west coast racing... we do what we can out here.

Ok that is hilarious and fairly accurate.

It is what it is. Look, I wish it were the strong Winston West of yore. I really do. It would be even better if the Winston West series were on the same spec as the big boys again as an option but obviously that's not gonna happen. I'm sure if I pressed it I'd be told that the way the sport was in the 1990s when it was blowing up in popularity was actually bad and I am a terrible person for thinking that was better than what we have now or that somehow plugging 14 year olds into late models is way better than the golden era of the ASA.

We already have a 2026 ARCA thread in the ARCA section, haven't we?
Here's an idea with all of the debate I've seen. Maybe we should open a poll in the "polls" section to determine if Arca should be in the Nascar section going forward? Give it, say, until qualifying at Daytona to decide?

Do enough of us view the polls for such a referendum to be feasible?

That ship's sailed. She was absolutely horrible in NXT.

I really think, in that car and in the ARCA West series, she can win 3-7 races and legitimately contend for a championship.
Doing open-wheel racing for just one year was completely pointless. With no experience in open-wheel it was clear she'd struggle in her first year.
As of right now, there are five full-time drivers confirmed for ARCA West. The series is in worse shape than when she last competed there.
She's going back to where she left off 6 years ago. If she doesn't win at least 5 races she has made zero progress at all.

The open wheel experiment does confuse me too

I'm not sure if this has been decided but please just disband the ARCA page and leave all future ARCA stuff here since it's a part of the NASCAR umbrella now

Apparently one of the mods thinks that Nascar's ARCA series belongs in the Other Racing? section. Then while moving it wiped out all of the info that was posted. Great job! Sure would like to hear the reasoning for that. At any rate, we carry on despite the foul up. Can't wait until they attempt to move the Deegan thread out of open wheel lol.
