Why for the love of all that is holy hasn’t Arca spent $10 or an hour of time with GPT to create a more useful or modern website? Or better yet just fold it on directly on the main NASCAR.com site. And then improve that.

I've tried to make the case that the names drivers use are irrelevant, and that they're not responsible for how the media treats them. But c'mon Fox, listing every one else by their last names except Mitchell and Siciliano, who appear on the pylon by their false first names 'Cleetus' and 'Squirrel'? I'd love to know the official justification for two different naming conventions, and how it's determined which drivers they apply to. Once could be an error; twice appears deliberate.

Maybe you can write Nascar a memo? Use your name old cranky guy. :p :D

Note that I'm asking Fox, not NASCAR or the drivers.

I notice you didn't offer any suggested explanation, just an insult.
Then write Fox one sign it the same way. BTW over 50,thousand were watching Cleetus's in car camera that also had the spotter/driver talking. So it's a good idea to know who your audience is. Good on Fox for knowing.

What's cranky about it? Why weren't 'Gio' or 'Daniel' or 'Jade' or 'Dystany' used too? If we're going to support these guys' right to race, they should be treated like every other driver on the track.

You can what about till you are blue in the face. You are way out in left field in this one. Considering you say you don't listen to Youtube, don't stream what can you expect? Luv you bro, but Fox is all about eyes on the sport and those you named although drivers, don't have 5 million followers and use those names professionally.

If Fox had used 'McFarland' and 'McNutt', I wouldn't have raised an eyebrow. I could understand them getting more booth attention than other drivers of similar skills and running positions. But Fox treating them differently this way doesn't help the case that they're not here just boost their web numbers. Their fans would have recognized them by their last names; first names aren't needed or justifiable.

Again, I acknowledge they have no control over what Fox does.

Maybe next week at Dega they will do that, and you can complain about that. Better yet, they could use both names and you can wonder why they use both of their names and the other drivers only have their last names.
