I do think this decision was made a good while ago and it’s really unfortunate Will was left in the dark for so long. I think his tenure deserved to end with a bit more fan fare - he’s a legend both of the sport and of Team Penske, across all of their motorsport endeavors). But I think that’s just Roger Penske for you.

I think things are going to fall perfectly for Will though. Once Herta heads to F2 I imagine Power will be slot right into the 26 immediately. And that is much better than what he could’ve hoped for just a few weeks ago.
