Emma Aicher and Kira Weidle-Winkelmann win silver, this time missing out by 0.05 seconds to Austrian underdogs Ariane Raedler and Katharina Huber.

I do find Luge/Bob/Skeleton rather boring to watch but listening to the Eurosport commentators going crazy was fun, especially with Julia Taubitz from the great city of Annaberg-Buchholz taking Gold.
 
Johan-Olav Botn won an emotional gold medal in yesterday's 20 km Biathlon race. He was the one who found the body of his late teammate and friend Sivert Guttorm Bakken less than two months ago.

Meanwhile, fellow Norwegian Sturla Holm Laegreid won the Bronze Medal and... subsequently admitted to cheating on his (now ex-) girlfriend.

France's Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron came out on top following a final routine that was scrutinized on social media for being messier than actually scored.

Although a majority of the judges believed that Team USA's Madison Chock and Evan Bates were better on the night, it didn't matter when one judge gave the gold medal duo a massive eight-point advantage in their scoring.

That judge is from France.

Curling has been quite good this Olympics. Vonn's crash
was heartbreaking but one thing that crossed my mind when
she was in the start house is that she was way overamped,
almost to a point where her hair was on fire when she
pushed off. There has to be a solution to the drones
dentists drill like sound.

The women's Super-G has a higher DNF rate than ARCA at Daytona.
 
It was impossible for ice skater Lilah Fear to win in ice skating, just too many errors and mistakes. But she is absolutely beautiful to watch.

These are the best athletes in the world in the field that they are performing, all of them. I am in awe watching the performance of all of them. In the case of Illia, yes he didn't perform up to his expectations. but he is still one of the best skaters and at 21 yrs old his chances are good to give it another try..

I started skating when I was about 8 yrs old my Father and Mother skated until their 50's. I was never as good as either of them. None of us ever saw a skating rink. We skated on the creeks and ponds and anything that was frozen. I remember that the coal mine had a large mule pond and it was one of the largest places to skate, and it was cold as hell when us kids would skate at night with a fire going on the shore to warm us up.
