3v3 in the medal round seems a little gimmicky to me but it is what it is. I think it only plays to Canada’s advantage with the way they’ve been creating opportunities over the final two periods. Americans have just been on their back foot too much.

After 2010 and 4NF last year, third time’s the charm. What a game!

Hellebuyck played his ass off. Kept the U.S. alive all through regulation.

Goaltending was certainly key today.

I was unable to watch. Just got parked when they scored to win the match. Good game on the radio. Lived up to the hype.

To be honest though, if this were a 'best of' series, Canada most likely takes the gold. The best of the best still come from our northern neighbors. One of their best wasn't able to play today. He's a difference maker that I get to witness all season long in Pittsburgh. Canada could have used him today.

That being said.....

Hellebuyck and Hughes both played high school hockey in Michigan. Werenski had the assist on the game winner and he played high school hockey in Michigan and went to the University of Michigan.

US vs Canada in Sudden Death OT for the gold, in both men's and women's hockey. Wouldn't have it any other way.

12 golds from these games, a record. Both hockey golds. Alysa Liu is golden. Amber Glenn is golden.

I frickin' love being an American!
Jack Hughes and Connor Hellebuyck are national heroes.
I am now a hockey fan and trying to decide between Carolina and Washington.
Amber Glenn is so ****en HOT

Alysa Liu is such a joy to watch.
This morning's USA win was for you, Lindsey Vonn!
NBC's 4K/Atmos coverage of the Olympics on Peacock is the best sports presentation I have ever witnessed.
I would marry Amber Glenn.
I now know the rules of Curling (I had something of an understanding of some of it) and it's so much fun.
Short Track Speed Skating is NASCAR on Ice.
Luge is intense.
Amber Glenn is hot as ****.
Leigh Diffey is the best announcer in the world.
Cool to see Simona de Silvestro competing in Bobsleigh.
I ****** LOVE THIS COUNTRY!
