The N24 is still a bit over two months away but the hype train is already at full steam after the confirmation of Max Verstappen joining an already loaded Mercedes-AMG lineup with Winward. Verstappen will race with the team during NLS2 next weekend (March 21) to help prep.

Additional SP9 Pro entries from Ferrari, BMW, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche, and Ford have already been confirmed as well. It’s shaping up to be the most anticipated N24 at least in the GT3 era (2009-). NLS1 this weekend alone has 24 SP9 entries (14 Pro).

HWA will run three HWA Evos in the race. The Evo is a sportscar based on the iconic Mercedes 190E. One of the cars will be driven by Luca Ludwig/Sebastian Asch/Markus Winkelhock and all three cars will feature throwback paint schemes.

The race will also feature the return of the BMW Z4 GT3 and following the introduction of the new draft lottery, the first ever Army-sponsored car in German motorsports.

Rumor is Valentino Rossi may be secretly running NLS1 this weekend to obtain his ‘Ring permit. Wonder if BMW plan to stick him in that thing.
My buddy pointed out this was posted to insta on April 1 last year. BMW intended it as a joke but it proved so popular among fans that it's now becoming a reality.

No matter if the one who shall not be named ends up driving this car or not, this will be the most anticipated Nürburgring 24 Hours in ages. Hopefully there will be a high amount of non-GT3 entries as well.

No Rossi but a full quartet of other BMW works drivers:

There will also be a modded 911 GT3 RS this year:

If the NLS1 entry list and other announcements are anything to go by, we’ll certainly be seeing a capacity grid of 150 cars for the N24 this year.
