Fans wanted 3-4 road courses a year and like they always do, NASCAR over did it. 2 isn't enough, 5+ is too many.

I think part of it is the layout as well. The Roval was badly screwed up, they could’ve done a mini Daytona setup without that stupid last chicane and it would’ve flowed so much better. I go to nearly everything I can at Mid Ohio, it’s entertaining because it flows so well. There’s too many unnecessary slowdowns in these places

I looked for myself. The seat map pictured is accurate and recent. Looks like they kept all the rows of the grandstand rather than remove every other row as they've done to a varying degree at nearly every oval track on the schedule. So the capacity is likely similar to what it was when the track closed, 47k seats.

I know i said in the race thread it wasn't a good crowd but it did fill in. Usually there is one spot on the front stretch thats thin and it was pretty good.
