3 Amigos 250 at Talladega Superspeedway

Tim George Jr...I have no idea how he just hit nothing or ended up on his roof.
 
Kimmel could have blocked him I think but it might have been big.
 
Wow, either Kimmell got bought by grandpappy Childress, or Kimmell sucks that bad.
Stevie Wonder could have threw a block on Dillon if he had to.
Frank had all the time in the world to move up and block. It wasn't even close. Pathetic, pathetic,pathetic...........

Now this is the type of racing I hope for at Talladega. Great second half of the race.

Too bad for Mcreynolds.

I don't think so he had front end damage and was fighting a car that wanted to turn left into the wall the last few laps, he did good to finish 2nd and not end up causing a big one on the last lap.

why? arca is getting more attention than ever because of childress supporting his grandsons racing. i'd do the same thing in his position. the dillon's will be criticized throughout their careers that they only made it (assuming they continue being successful) because of richard's success/money. nascar has always been made up of racing family's. petty, allison, marlin, baker, wallace, and so on. i hope ty and austin both become cup stars and wish them nothing but the best.

Hey, I watched it. Well most of it, most notably that amazing finish! Good thing I remembered to watch it too, because it wouldn't have DVR'd, as Speed named it whatever show(s) were regularly scheduled for that time slot.

And I certainly can't think of the last time that postponed event was a companion race.

For some reason it just occurred to me now. The most recent ARCA rain out was MIS 2008, rained out to saturday at 8am. Dont know why i didnt remember earlier, i was at that race.
 
The rain delay I will never forget was the 2000 finale in Atlanta. They sent the spotters up on the roof as it was sleeting. Of course nothing happened on Saturday and the Sunday Cup race was postponed until Monday. So, ARCA was forced to run Monday afternoon AFTER the Cup race. That was one long, cold miserable weekend. Funny thing is when I watched the tape of the race later that week not one word was mentioned about the rubber that Cup put down on the track affecting the ARCA cars....of course had it been the other way around the announcers would have made a big deal about it as if it really matters.
