Jacob Allen got close a couple times, but Rico smartly moved around and held the lead. Quite a run by Spencer Bayston in third. He hasn't shown that kind of speed much all season.

I figured with Rico on the pole, the way he has been running it was going to be tough knocking him off. Big money race and Rico seldom chokes.

Timms almost got that one away from Pursley. Good race and win #2

Cool to see Eldora paying this much ($15k to win) for both the USAC sprints and midgets. Pursley has got it figured out tonight.

Not sure I've ever seen Silver Crown cars running three wide for the lead and four under a blanket.

It did.

The soft compound RR wasn’t the hot setup. Half the field suffered a failure during the last 20 laps turning the race into a dud. A rather ignominious end to the 4-Crown weekend.
