Rain imminent, almost halfway. Junyer leads Stewart. Two Wallaces third and fourth and the teammate is 5th.
 
It's the big one at Talladega!

Wallace, with a slow car in the way, hit Reutimann. Carl flew. And a huge wreck. Red flag. I think the race is over.

Well, the interviews will be interesting.

That was one of the stupidest and most dangerous moves I've seen in racing! That was inexcusable on the part of LePage!!!! :mad:

Can NASCAR fine him or penalize him for a bone-head move like that? I'm sorry to harp on this one incident but it seems like the reason no one was seriously hurt or worse in that crash was just dumb luck.

100% agree, that was probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen a driver do! Stupid race move are one thing, but that was just idiotic!
 
Has NASCAR ever penalized someone for stupdity?

If not, I think they need to make an example of dum-dum.

That's what I'm thinking. Just because the blend rule says you can blend in at turn one (which I believe they changed to turn 2) doesn't mean you should. Hell, he was going over 100 MPH slower than the pack was. You blend in when you're going as fast as they are!

IDIOT! I now officially have 0 respect for LePage.

The make-a-wish girl in victory lane was a cutie. Seeing her give Tony the giant hug and the smile on both their faces was neat!
 
It's easy to why Lepage has lost every Cup seat he's ever been in. What an arrogant P.O.S. in the interview. I hope one of the Cup guys involved in the wreck has a word with him...(or stomps on his head).

That was a very pompous interview. I'm with you, and I sure as hell would love to be a fly on the wall when those drivers "chat" with Kevin Lepage.

He needs to, if it hasn't happend already, get called to the hauler, shown the replay, and then expleined what the hell he did. Because he apparently doesn't know (or won't admit) that he F'd up royally!

You didn't miss much. Just an interview containing a lie so blantant, I think Ella Sofia is laughing at him.

He did not listen to his spotter. He did not use his mirrors. He did not use his brain (assuming it does in fact, exist). I'm pretty sure i heard them say that in the drivers meeting, they were told turn 2. He wasn't even in the same zipcode at turn 2 yet.

But, when they showed the back of the 61 car, i think the rear window was raised high enough to consider it a cut-away car for Fox.

Now, my fine friends from all over America, be prepared to laugh. This was a comment on the YouTube video for the big one.

Guys and gals, cut the man some slack. Youtube is not the place to bash great drivers for making mistakes. Like Kevin said in his TV interview, he was going by last year's rule which allowed drivers to blend in turn 1, and as he stated 6 drivers managed to avoid him but Edwards must have been asleep at the helm at clipped him, setting the ride loose. Everybody at Specialty is behind Kevin 100% and this just motivates us to get him back on the track and ready to silence his new critics.

I don't know how Kevin could look at the replay of that wreck and say it wasn't his fault since a "dozen cars got past him" since he just decided to pull on the track in front of a dozen more. That was the most bone-headed, wreckless move I've ever seen. Then to blame the other guys' spotters?!!!!!!! You have to be kidding me!! I hope someone slaps some sense into him. He DIDN'T listen to his spotter. You could hear him saying to STAY DOWN. Ughh Kevin, do they need to write DOWN on your left hand and UP on your right hand so you remember?!!! Unreal! He's lucky he didn't kill someone. I really want to call him a bunch of names to get out my frustration, but I'll spare you. :D

CONGRATULATIONS TONY!!! WOOO HOOOOOOOO! That little girl was adorable when she reached over and hugged Tony and he was hugging her back. What a great time for that little cutie and I wish her good health in the future!
