Ace Frehley

Rest in peace, Ace. The first rock albums I ever purchased with my grass cutting money was to hear his guitar playing, and I never listened to Kiss without him.

I went through middle school playing air guitar, wanting to be him.

I never cared for the way Paul Stanley constantly shiet mouthed Ace. He was always great imo..

This is still hitting me harder than I could have ever imagined and flooding my memories. Just to much to process.

Watching Ace tear it up on "Black Diamond," "Let me go Rock and Roll, "... and so much more. This is going to take some time.

I will watch TV tonight with the lights dimmed, I don't want Amy to see any moist eyes.

Thanks again, Ace, for the great memories.

The first 3 albums were a staple of my mid teen years. I've been collecting vinyl of all kinds for decades, and with over 21 KISS records, some of my favorites are the solo efforts they put out in late 1978. The first time I played New York groove by Ace, I knew it was a hit.
All our musical friends are slowly leaving us, and it kinda sucks .
