I love short track racing (Taylor's Version)
Sprint Showdown will be run on the night of the Truck race. All Star Race "No Limit" qualifying on Saturday before the All Star race.
It's become evident that NASCAR wants to be like every other stick and ball sport.
Hmmm....if that's what the brain really wants, wouldn't he sacrifice double race dates at his tracks to bring the show to more markets?
Don't give him any GOOD ideas.
Here we go FenderBumper, during the Chase, we can have the Chase drivers race at one track and the non-Chase drivers race at another track at the same time and install rules as to which race NBC affiliates in select markets can air.
Constant changing of everything always works. Just ask the Cleveland Browns.
I don't like it. The "Sprint Showdown" is one of my favorite races and it being right before the All Star Race puts the spotlight on the drivers who don't normally get it. Now, it's on Friday night where they won't get time the spotlight at all. Not to mention, it robs fans who buy their Saturday ticket - now it's less racing. The qualifying races are gone and it's just a main event now.
ASR attendance/ratings >>>>>>> Truck race attendance/ratings.Having the Showdown on Friday also takes the advantage of what amounts to a practice session for/just before the All-Star race for the teams that make the cut in the Showdown.
Why won't they get the spotlight on Friday? Do you think the fans that would watch the truck race and the All-Star race won't watch the Showdown race?

At least 2.5 million viewers. Is there a big difference there?
Do you think people that watch the Sprint All-Star Race will watch the Truck race and the Sprint Showdown???
I should make a bet with Brian France. I bet him the entire NASCAR corporation that he can't go five years without changing anything in NASCAR.
Not only would he lose, but I'd be in charge of the sport.

I do have to give Brian credit where credit is due though. Not all of the changes over the last 5 years have been bad. For example, if nothing had changed in the last 5 years:I should make a bet with Brian France. I bet him the entire NASCAR corporation that he can't go five years without changing anything in NASCAR.
Whatever happened to "Boys Have At it"?
kyle busche and jeff gordonWhatever happened to "Boys Have At it"?
They can do all the changing they want, it's still cars with a engine, not a stick and ball sport that you take/learn in gym class. Only a certain amount of people are going to be nascar fans no matter what way they chose to dress it up.They are really going balls deep changing things this year. By the end of it they'll even change the name itself to shread the "redneck" image they are known for.
This is all very disheartening.
EXACTLY!!! Try talking to one of these football fans that just says... "Oh.. Look! They're turning left!".... they just don't get it and most never will.... we are the enlightened onesThey can do all the changing they want, it's still cars with a engine, not a stick and ball sport that you take/learn in gym class. Suffer how? Watching a race a day early? Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh big whoop! LOL Are there ANY long time NASCAR fans that DONT complain about EVERYTHING?!Be that as it may, the changes are for said people in hope to gain their attention.
The tue NASCAR fans are the one who suffer because of Brian's big ego.

I know ur not... that's the point.... I know UR slow but at least try sounding out the second half of the sentence before you get frustrated and give upI'm not talking just about this change, I know you're slow but try to keep up.

That's funny bc the word your wouldn't belong anywhere in that sentence....I used UR...which.. like its spelt.. means YOU... ARE... or you're.... nice try though lmfao FAILSlice fails again.
Doesn't even know when to use "you're" and "your."
You're slow and illiterate
