I am practicing my yankee speak for a possible trip north of that old Mason/Dixon line...any help would be appreciated.

Don't ask for grits once you get past the line from St. Louis to Indy.

I am serious Dee...like you havent noticed ;) .Just today I bought a POP/SODA at the gas station..damn.I mean filling station.

Oh, and don't wear a rebel flag on your shirt. We'll just laugh and say the war was over before my great-grandma was born!

Or before great-g'ma came to the US!

Potatoes for breakfast? None for me just coffee thanks.

It depends on where you're going to. if you're going to the great city of Cincinatti in Ohio, the natives of that area are proud of the fact that although their sports teams suck, the name of their city creates havoc for everyone when it gets misspelled (spell check ) every damn time.

You were expecting maybe Wisconsin?Nope. They talk funnier than even you do Dee!

If you're going to Middle-earth, then I suggest learning entish, you'll need that when going through Fangorn Forest. Although I believe Entish takes a very long time to speak.

Don't ask for PEE-CAN pie...we call it pecan pie!
The only people I ever heard call it pee-can are people from Michigan. I was born and raised in Ky and Tn and never heard pee-can.
