Amigo vs Ross

Amigo is pretty confident in himself - "If I want to fight Ross, and he knows this, he's not going to last five seconds. So, what am I going to gain from that?"
Hope he keeps that confidence when hes back to running trucks next year, where he belongs.

Ah there was more on track, will it continue into Darlington?

I appreciate the footage. Perhaps I'm missing something, but I'm really not seeing the major issue that would cause such a heated confrontation afterwards between these guys, unless there was some preexisting bad blood from elsewhere. Just looked like two guys racing hard to me. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I’m sure it’s just that these guys don’t really like each other, so the slightest issue will cause them to flip out on each other.

That's basically what I said in the race thread when I first looked at it. There's not a whole lot there, besides just hard racing each other mid-pack. But it seems there's some bad blood there for the former trackhouse teammates behind the scene's stuff it sounds like, and now true feelings are coming out, this has sort of been a build up on track in the last few races that just eventually boiled over on the cooldown lap. Both of them are hyper aggressive driver's on track.

Amigo has it out for Trackhouse, and there's not much wrong with that, they dumped him so now he wants to sock it to them, and right now he's ahead of Ross in the points. Ross telling him "you got fired" and telling him to go get out of here, is only going to peeve Daniel more. Idk if it'll blow over or play out on track, but we shall see. Ross declined to comment more.

The lady that stepped in between them gambled harder than anyone in Vegas all week.

Amigo's side

I am actually kind of wondering what Ross wants him to take accountability about on track? But yeah, no need to cost yourself $50K.

"Amigo! Settle down, son, settle down!"

Not The Hurricane
Absolutely, Carson is the new Ross. Always putting a fender to someone new...remember Ross's "No "FOX" Given" tour a couple years ago?

And both of them have said in interviews that they don't have any friends in the Cup field.

I didn’t see much for them to get blown up over, but Suarez is bitter that he was fired from Trackhouse. Clearly these guys weren’t the best of amigos when teammates. Probably not antagonistic or anything. It’s like those guys you work with that are OK but they irritate you with their personality, or habits, or actions.

Frankly both need to dial it back, pull of some handshakes and focus on performance. Suarez isn’t going to achieve anything by jamming up or wrecking Trackhouse team members. He’s got a decent car, very fortunate to land with a team that is proving to be modestly competitive. Ross and Trackhouse need to find ways to finish higher, more consistently. Their cars were very average or worse last season. Connor Z Prodigy is learning how tough these cars are, and it will take time to get the 88 staying near the front. SVG looks good early, but struggled at Vegas. Ross has shown flashes, but they can’t keep the car dialed in with track changes. Is that on the CC, the communication from Ross, or the setup strategy? Have no clue.

Lastly, Suarez seems quite ****y in his self confidence. Ross is farm strong, not sure how quick that one gets resolved.

I'm going to go against my instinct to analyze and interpret all this and say something simple.

This Ross vs Daniel thing is absolutely hilarious, childish, and petty. And I love it. Man children. Thats what makes sports fun. Seriously.

Part of the problem is that I think the Amigo has to put up some serious numbers this season to stay around. It sure sounds like he's just keeping that seat warm for Kyle.
