Heaven's Track

He's looking down from Heaven As he stands there next to God.

.He shakes his head and grins that grin And says "Isn't that odd?

They're running races every week. But, God how can that be?

They've got to know that I'm not there But they never wait for me."

God smiled at him, let out a sigh, And said, "Dale, that is true.

Your time with them is finished. And you've shown them what to do.

Now, you're here with me in Heaven With your father and your friends.

And here you'll race on Heaven's track In a race that never ends."
