Another season, and another daytona 500. Theres new people here, and I have herd people start talking about it already.

Does it take more skill or less skill to win or finish in the top 5 at a restrictor plate track compared to other tracks during the season?

Same skill level, just different skills sets such as using the draft, rather than short track pass set ups and out breaking. The real skills are used at the road tracks.

You use different skills, but because plate racing is such a crapshoot and much of it is luck in avoiding the big one (like picking the right line and what not) I would say it takes less skill.
