Any other Mac users in here?

Used Mac when I taught school. That's where I first learned to dabble on the net.

Use a Gateway --- 4 years old and still purring right along(most of the time). LOL

Yep. I have a an iBook and an ancient PowerBook. Macs are like cigarettes for me, I keep saying that I'm going to give them up and then I go buy more. But everytime I go to my folks home and jump on their Dell I remember why I buy Macs.

I like Nirvana too, if that's what your signature implies.

The_Mad_Hatter,
I got three of um, the old power book, an LCII, and the iMac. Thinkin' 'bout gettin' one of them fancy news ones or a G4 Cube, iffin' I can find one. Good to have another MacApple around. About the signagraph, Nirvana and Kirk Kabang was a little after my time, though I have listened to them.

Using PowerPC at office, iBook on the road, iMac at home.

Take my Mac from my cold dead fingers.

No windoze for me.

I've got a Mac 01 with a 5meg external hardrive and about 300 floppies out in the garage. Does that count? The thing must be close to 20 years old by now and it still works just fine. Even got my my first 1200 baud modem to go with it:D

1200 baud? Such blazing speed!! ;)

My first computer at work had a whopping 10MB hard drive, and a monochrome monitor. All that for the low low price of about $5k.

I love those DELL commercials, especially the one where he's working at the mall and almost falls off his chair. lmao. thats too funny:p

~all in a days work;) ~

Apple computer is the reason there is any innovation at all in todays market. Without Steve Jobs and crew, you windoze people would be using DOS 29.2

Who can argue with a company that put 2000 songs - IN YOUR POCKET.

Soon in windoze pockets too.

Hey, Walrus, I already have an older brother who runs half a dozen Macs in his electric and telephone business in a village on the Yukon River. You'll have to be my little brother.

TRL, 71fan, & Big Al,
Come to think of it I've still got a SE w/extra disc drive in the attic. Also a 14,400 baud modem. I'm sure if I dug hard enough I could come up with a game of pong. Almost makes me feel like an electronic dinosaur. But I'm sure glad I'm not alone. Al, little brother is fine with me as they'll take my Mac from my cold dead fingers also.
