If I had the car it would just collect dust so it would much better in someone else's hands. If my understanding is correct the HoF, where the car currently sits, is losing money and hopes that by transferring some of the memorabilia between JC Penny's and Sears at the local mall so that corporate interest may be drummed up.
I used to work for Ford. That's not a Taurus.

Nothing special about that leak; I think it was standard equipment.
Prolly a simple, inexpensive fix.
My wife's car didn't tell me anything about it until yesterday when it started smelling funny. Turned out she was running it with 0 oil.

Oil leaks are surprisingly cheap to fix. I had one a few years ago and it only cost a couple hundred dollars.
Now that $1,500 transmission repair I had recently.

I hate to be the guy who nit picks here... the car pictured there did not roll from Victory Lane at Indy 1997 to that display room... the car Ricky won the Brickyard 400 with would have been a 1997 Ford Thunderbird.
Maybe that's the chassis which won but it went on to obviously be a Taurus for the team as it made other laps...
Sorry, it just stood out to me like a sore thumb. I would think the people doing articles/hall of fame type things would be more up on details than I would be...
