ARCA Daytona

Dear media: Buster Graham said Road America and meant it - Chase Elliott caused a wreck there last year in the ARCA race which is what was referenced. He was NOT talking about the wreck Chase caused at Mosport. Quit putting words in his mouth.

everyone left chase. he has jeff gordon;s luck on plate tracks. Have one of the strongest cars and everyone screws you at the end

...what a finish

alright bring on the boys who actually try to win.

AND this is the problem with restrictor plate races in ARCA.

I dont remember the last time when someone here made a move to pass on the last lap.

Really underwhelming finish.

TNN used the top of the screen. ESPN's position tracker was VERY minimal. Even in the 90s, they were smaller than FOX's rundown. #FAIL
the tracker was still there in the 90s... not fail.

I'd rather see the tracker scrolling at the top as well but I'm not gonna cry like a bitch about it

Lame finish.

Oh please when the winning car was relevant you were screaming 'Toyota!'
First time Ford won at Daytona.. and ur right my Ford fan-ism is completely biased toward being a Joey fan... so what? Still a good thing the manufacturer I like won :D

You will when you miss a key moment.

I have a 42 inch tv on my room and that thing still blocks a big chunk of the action.

Cant even imaging how that would look on a track like Martinsville and Bristol.

Plate racing still sucks and I will say that if my guy wins or runs well. I just dont like any of it and I am guilty of watching every lap.

I love my widescreen, but in the last dozen years broadcasters have begun to take up that extra real estate with various crap instead of giving us the wide screen view we payed for. It wont be long before they shift the picture to one half the screen and run ads on the other.

Like Chase a lot, races old school, hope he can fight, he will need to, to in the lower ranks, not so much in cup unless he runs into a Stewart Hass ride.

Cursed, be your words man.

But that isn't far fetch either. I could see them doing that.

I feel like it might just be a restrictor plate track thing. Like they're trying to show us a lot more car running order while watching a big pack. It's funny though because we see less cars..

I'll be shocked if they are still using this in PHX.

I remember when TNT debuted that stupid-ass commercial banner with Wal-Mart, Sprint, et al. at Pocono last year and everyone complained about it and it was downsized by the next race. Hopefully that's the case this time too.

fender....i still got big ole heavy square type tv....sd format....an no side bar graphics on my screen today.
...only scroll at top/bottom durin arca race ...as always.

In my RV I've got a SD box on DirecTV on a widescreen HD TV and it is and has been on the side all day even though I shrunk it to SD screen size. As you said It must be the TV itself dawg.
