Are People Really Mad At Carl?!?

Samantha actually apologized for her actions .... I have no idea why as I don't feel she did anything wrong but there were a bunch of idiots giving her hell anyway.
Okay, I missed something. What did Sam do to upset the easily-offended masses? Did she go into full-blown Stephanie Hamilton mode?

Regardless, big whoop. She's an athlete's spouse. They're going to support their partner, and I wouldn't expect them to do anything less.

When did Ron do Kyle wrong?

Ron made a stupid pass and wrecked Kyles brand new truck that had been purpose built for the Texas race .... not to mention that Hornaday was driving for Harvick and there were many issues that built up to the deal at Texas.

Pretty sure I seen the wreck, didn't Kyle try a slide job and it not work out for him?

I'm not allowed to get mad at Kyle or Samantha on twitter anymore since they both blocked me, I still stand by the number of times I called him an @$$hole though.

You can still get mad and stomp around the house .... Kyle can't stop you from that :XXROFL::XXROFL:

No .... Hornaday crammed his truck on the inside very early in the race and wrecked Kyles piece ............ thats how I remember it anyway

See for urself

Well maybe I was wrong, but it still was an early race, Kyle could have easily have fixed the damage. Hell, he could have still won that race with as much talent as he has.

I could still show times that prove he's wrecked people when stuff been his own fault. But where I can just admit I was wrong I'm not sure if Kyle fans could.

I mean hell, all I got to say is Kasey Khane, and you got a lot of videos to look up. How many times did he take him out before Kasey finally stood up for himself?

“People” are kinda different, LS. Unfortunately, some of the very different express themselves through social media.

Thats not very nice .... I know exactly what you meant :booya:

Events that happened before the Texas race had apparently put Kyle near the edge and this deal was the straw that broke the camels back. I was shocked when I saw it but wasn't a bit surprised

Seriously??? Any other time it would be "A Racin Deal", but because it happened to Kyle people are ready to piss themselves!

What part of the game is that???

Yes, because Kyle Busch fans are cult-like in their worship. Same group of people who attacked a woman on Twitter last week, calling her a "stupid bitch", "****" and "whore" and worse.

I think Kyle used up his car and had to slow down a bit and take the bottom away from Carl. Carl had a better car and did what he had to. The difference between the Kyle/Carl incident and the Matt/Joey incident is that Carl didn't wreck Kyle. I think Kyle handled the post race interview well, you knew he wasn't happy about loosing a race in the last corner but I think he understood the situation.
...except Kyle didn't drive to Carl's bumper.
Not sure where the OP gets info about Kyle fans being upset but it sure wasn't at this forum.

Please stop with this. It's embarrassing to read.

I considered them die-hard fans until they attacked someone else's character. Someone who has invested more time, money and emotion into this sport than any of them ever will.

NASCAR fans have been downright ugly this year. Must be the "anti-PC" revolution where people complain about everything and insult everyone to prove their intellectual superiority. From the constant sh*tmouthing of racetracks, to complaining about fans not being in the stands to attacking other people.

I bet new fans are being turned off by this crap every day. And, truth be told, this isn't happening in other sports. You don't see Yankees fans calling Red Sox fans "****" and "f***face". You don't see Cowboys fans calling Redskins fans "sl*ts" and "bitches".

Kyle Busch has the most loyal fans in all of sports. So loyal, in fact, that they've forgotten racing is supposed to be fun.

Social media, likely. Ladyspartan is active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. And, yes, Kyle Busch fans complained about Carl on Facetwit, said he wasn't a good teammate, said they hope Kyle puts Carl head-on into a wall and so on.

I consider myself a KB fan. I'd rather not be swept under your rug if you don't mind.

You're a journalist. Dust your objectivity off.

I'm not a Carl fan but I don't have a problem with moving Kyle. I rather imagine that Kyle would have done the same thing and probably was expecting it. To me it doesn't matter if the guy saved it or not. You don't have control of it anyway. If he doesn't save the car then maybe he wasn't prepared and got sleeping.

Go to a Dodger game in LA with a Giants jersey on and someone will stop into a vegetable. Go to a Raider game with. Chargers jersey on and let me know how it goes.

Funny I was wondering what people thought when I entered the Cowboy Palace with my Padres cap. Remember that big dude was kicked out who started the fight over the pool table was wearing a black Dodgers hat. :D

What is with you always singling out groups of people? You generalize a whole fan base of a driver you don't like based on Twitter. There's plenty of bozos on Twitter that aren't Kyle Busch fans

I think at the games is where the hardcore crazies are. Dodgers owner got for sued for the Brian Stowe incident at Dodgers Stadium.

Funny when Jeff Gordon won talladega I remember a lot of unruly fans throwing glass bottles and beer cans at him. I take it it's safe to assume the Third Reich Rowdy fans caused it?

I am surprised that this topic is news or thread worthy as I thought what Carl did was just what you did in order to win a race. From what I have read Kyle seems philosophical about the incident and understands it is an entrenched part of short track racing. I would question a driver's desire to win if he didn't do everything possible to get the position.

This^.

PS- What is this obsession with showing the wives/girlfriends of the racers during a race? Who cares? They contribute nothing to the on or off track performance of the racing team.

Another group of idiots. And I always enjoyed when they'd leave on lap 45 when Jr wrecked.

The first time I remember seeing a lot of wife/girlfriend coverage was with Kim Burton when Jeff drove the 99 car. Other then that I remember seeing the odd shot of Stevie Waltrip or Teresa Earnhardt which was fine but at a critical point in the race I want to see the race not someone having a breakdown.

Yeah, they always showed Kim when Jeff was leading late.
