As expected, no penalties for Tony Stewart

I don't think anyone playing with a full deck expected any type of penalties for the helmet toss. And this was made official by a NASCAR via Twitter.

Are you spreading false rumors that NASCAR is playing with a full deck?

Because NASCAR has fined drivers for cussing during interviews and other minor things, so you'd think they would fine Stewart over the helmet toss as well.

Exactly. Some people confuse thinking nascar MIGHT fine a driver with believing nascar SHOULD fine that driver.

We never know what nascar may do, and they like it that way. Drama.

Tony got put in jail for throwing a helmet, but that's because them Aussies are way too sensitive.

If they had given him any penalties at all I would be screaming so loud you could hear it in Dallas. :D

The Helmet throw along with his declaration to run Kenseth over every time he had a chance definitely warrants a fine.

Gee , theres a surprize.
If Kyle Busch had done it I'm sure I'd still be hearing you crying all the way from Dallas

" NOPE " If KyBu did it, it would have been a tame move for him and he dont have the cajones to actually confront anybody.

I don't think the helmet thing warrants a fine but what happens if Stewart does wreck Kenseth this weekend or the next after declaring his intention to do exactly that?

Matt has some bad timing upsetting drivers. Last year with Vickers and now with Stewart just in time for the Chase.

I think it'll be Richmond when he'll do it if he does it or its just head games like last year.

Unfortunately, no matter how you want to slice it, Stewart had a serious lapse in judgment. He lost his composure and took it out on Kenseth.
After Kenseth pushed him up the track, twice.

NASCAR had a chance to send a message to Stewart and the rest of the drivers that these childish actions, which not only hurt the drivers but make the entire sport look foolish, will not be tolerated.
"These childish actions" bring people to the sport. How much press has this gotten already.

Boys have at it...

Whoever Adam Wells is should change his panties because the thong he is wearing is in a wad over nothing. Read the responses below the article, they say it all. OK FB, cue Adam Wells in a thong.:D

Finding an image of that Adams fellow is too difficult.

If raging Tony can shatter someone eye socket with his helmet and get away with it, this is nothing to bother about. I still think he expected to race Kenseth one sided, but what else is new.

Nice replies from the rose-colored-glasses-wearing Stewart fans.
If this was Carl or Kyle the lynch mobs would be unruly. :D

LOL. Remember when Edwards faked a punch at Kenseth and took some heat?

I don't ever remember any driver having penalties for throwing a helmet. A little show of emotion is a good thing. :D

@RobbyGordon 25k for throwing the helmet & 10k for saying POS - FACT RT @DGodfatherMoody: RG 2005 fine was not for throwing his helmet. Get the facts!

The penalties and NASCAR's reaction is never consistent. If Kurt Busch tossed the helmet (not at Jerry Punch) then his body would already be prepared and ready for slicing and consumption.

Not sure what your reply is because I don't "twit".
"...Robby got out of his car, walked out in front of other cars and threw his helmet at Waltrip's car.
NASCAR fined Robby Gordon $25,000, 25 driver points and 25 car owner points for this childish temper tantrum..."
