So Audi who will stop developing IC engines for the road just joined Sauber F1 to supply a hybrid IC for racing, huh? Is something changing? I'm confused...lol

Future power unit regulations will depend much more upon electric energy, nearly as much as they do upon the ICE - something like a 535/470 HP split between the ICE and MGU-K. F1 is also just the hot marketing opportunity right now.

Yes, for the worse. Racing in F1 and wanting to introduce car-free Sundays don't go together very well.
