That was a pretty good game last night. Oklahoma City led for most of the night, but the Mavericks just kept within striking distance and made the plays at the end that they had to make.
I'm getting over my hatred of LeBron and the Heat. I still don't like the Heat at all, and I still don't like much about what LeBron has done over the last several years. But, I have to admit that it would be kind of cool for a kid from my hometown to win an NBA title. I don't want to make excuses for the guy, but it is pretty understandable that a guy would become narcissistic when he has been told he is the best since he was in about 6th grade or so. Growing up with a crack addict for a mom and no dad in the picture couldn't have helped prepare him for life very well either.
How he handled "The Decision" on national tv, how he quit against the Celtics and many other things still bother me, but it isn't really my place to judge the guy. I'm certainly not perfect either.
I'm certainly still rooting for the Mavericks in the Finals, but seeing the Heat win wouldn't be the end of the world for me.
