basketball anyone?

only need to win 1 in miami. for the first time in the series i do believe the mavs have a decent chance of winning the championship. this is by far the best nba finals i've seen in a long time.

That was a great game last night. I don't think the NBA could even hope for anything more than what this series has been.

It's been kind of stressful watching this series for me though, because my 17 yr old son is really rooting for the Heat. He is still a huge LeBron fan because he is from our hometown. I really can't stand the Heat and I've been a Dallas fan for years. I really like Dirk Nowitzki. We've been kind of bickering back and forth about just about every call the refs make, or don't make. It's been fun though.

Wade and LeBron keep mocking Dirk and I say the Mavs win this next one.

I saw that video that showed up yesterday of Dwyane and LeBron mock coughing and talking about it before game 5. Making fun of Dirk's illness was kinda immature but about what I've come to expect from those two guys. I'd heard before the game about how Wade was talking about Dirk and insinuating that his 102 fever and torn ligament in his finger were overblown. When Wade got himself injured in the first half of game 5, the first thing I thought was "Yeah, karma's a bi+ch, punk!".

Lol I was thinking the same thing. Any predictions for tonight?

Saw that, too. Talk about lack of class and sportsmanship. I'm officially pulling for the Mavs now.

Go Dirk! Go Dirk!

Okay, mike honcho, let's keep score shall we?

Texas Rangers -- made it to the World Series and lost.
Pittsburgh Steelers -- made it to the Super Bowl and lost.

Dallas Mavericks -- 2011 NBA CHAMPS.

:fixed:

Not to bad of a score if you ask me.:D:D:beerbang:

Great game by the Mavs last night. It's pretty amazing to me how LeBron just basically shrunk in the moment so many times in this series. LeBron bailed on Cleveland for Miami because he blamed the team's failures on his teammates. He basically hand picked his teammates in Miami and they still lost. Last night was actually more Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers' fault than LeBron's. They were chucking up some ugly looking shots and bricking most of them. Of course, LeBron should have been demanding the ball in the fourth quarter and he just simply didn't seem to want it. The thing is, he probably still doesn't even think for a minute that it might be his fault that his teams have failed in crunch time again and again. He has surrounded himself with a bunch of sycophants who's main purpose is to feed his ever growing ego.

I still think he will end up with a championship or two. He really is almost too good of a player not to. As a hometown kid, I actually hope he does win a title or two, eventually. I'm just glad it didn't happen in his first year with this group of immature, selfish @ssholes that they assembled down there.
