Me and a buddy have been thinkin about something for a while and i figgerd i would see what ya'll think.

Ya'll know my luck with girls, and what not....but we have been wording why cant "good guys" get the girls? and why do the "bad guys" get them? is it the "bad bay" immage, or is there something else.

From past experence, my longest relationship was around 7 months, might i add not a good 7 months i stuck with it about 5 or 6 months longer then i should have. my shortest would be a week or so. (if a week can count) And i would call my self a nice guy, easy to get along with, hell i dont lie to get a to a girl or bs anything, cause they will find out if your liein anyway. and plus thats just a good way to get a relationship started, by liein right guys?

Now when i get to school, i see some good lookin girls (not sayin i would date them) but they are with some guys that i would not even try to have a convo with, they use major drugs brag about that everyday, this one dude told his g/f that he quit smokin pot, but did not and she still belives him to this day he did. and most of theses guys at school all they care about is gettin some, and if they dont they are gone. thefs, drug users, ect and there g/fs are allways saying, "phh he will change" or "he quit for me"

yea and i used that "yes dear i quit dippin for you" bs also, hmm now that i think of it wish i kept the dip for that few months then that one girl.

anyway, my question is "why do the ""bad guys"" get the girls?" is it the bad guy immage? or maybe they are trying to make then change? I have no idea....i have been trying to figger this out for years, and i don't belive there in one anwser for it.

no im not bitching or complaing or anything im just wondering about this what ya'll think.

Nick, you are a GREAT guy. Those girls who go for the "bad guy" at this age will probably end up in trouble themselves and really aren't worth worrying about.
Keep your focus on what's REALLY important, like school, your future, working hard to acheive your goals then setting new ones, loving and careing about those close to you and give it all time.

Love will find you at the right time for YOU!

It sounds to me like those chicks you are speaking about are just the "bad guy" type. Raise your sights a notch.........bet there's some girl right in plain sight!!

Lappy, high school, teenage years, girls (and guys) want to rebel against whatever it is they rebel against (I never did for some reason...didn't see the benefit in it)...it seems that girls want to get with dudes who their parents would be appalled to see them with...also...like you said, girls like to think, "I can change this guy" or "This guy changed for me" but in reality, they never will...its like the abused wife that has convinced herself that her husband hits her because he loves her. Somewhere around 20 or so, girls (and guys) wake up and realize they either have to change or be stuck sleeping in the bed they mad for themselves. I, personally, had to realize that I couldn't let girls walk all over me all the time. For some guys, its drugs...and they realize they either have to quit themselves or the drugs will quit for them (see: Kill). For girls, not all of them, its trying to fix guys...I don't know, just my observations as a 24 year old fresh out of the BS...take it as you will. Keep your head up...once you're out of high school, things change and they change only for the better.

I have done some stupid stuff in the past, and got a head of my self a few times. not going to post them here, a few of ya'll know what im talking about.

Yup, you heard it here first.

I think most folks on this board who have made it through hs, would agree high school was a fun time, but you couldn't pay me enough to do it again.

You're about to enter a much more fun time in my opinion...a time where folks start to separate themselves my maturity levels. There are some people in their 40's who still act like they're in hs, and 20 year olds who are twice as mature...

So it sounds to me like you're headed down the "I think maturity sounds like an ok thing" route. Just by the situations you put yourself in, you'll start to be surrounded by mature women. The worst place to hunt for a girlfriend is the bar scene. Look for them at stuff that is ineteresting to you...(Races, church (if it applies), work, studying...whatever...) You'll be a lot happier in the end with a woman that can think for herselft and shares some of your interests...

Basically, hang in there...it's about to get fun!

I have been pondering about this for a long time (5 or so years) and after hearing my buddy complane everytime he calls or i see him at school....i figgerd i would post and ask what ya'll thought.....but i posted what has happanded to me, and not him. but his luck has been a little better then mine.

Plus, just wanted to know what ya'll think!

Well my buddy just called me and ohh boy this could be on days of our lifes.

He started dating this girl when he was 9th or 10th grade. (she is 2 grades under him) well they "went out" cant say they dating because they never went anywhere and olny saw each orther at school, christmas and when one of there partents went to the mall......well somewhere down the line she broke up with him......a little later (around Christmas) she got back with him, and not long after that she left him again.....well they started talking not that long ago, he said something to her pissed her off and they stoped talking again........finaly they was talking and all this crap again untell last night cause shes got a b/f that she just met a few days ago.

so they have went out 2-3 times
stoped talking 2-3 time (more then the 2-3 that they went out)
she has done nothing but lie to him, and her knew it but when he stood up to her about it she got mad and he was all i'm sorry, im sorry.....

so on this one, i'll call them both idiots her for doing it to him, and him for taking it.....do i fell sorry for him, i hate to say it but i dont, why might you ask? because he kept going back to her, again and again, plus the guy can be an ass most of the time. (makes him self look big)

But thats his story, im sure i confised all of ya'll (Bowtie) so i did my daly work. :lol: :lol:

Now back to me, at school today, ahh im just glad im a Sr. Now if i just could leave Kentucky for the summer and go somewheres, but dont have the cash or a place to stay.....haha, :lol:

Hmm ok what i have got now is.....that in a few weeks no one will rember who you was in High School, ppl are smarter and more "grown up" Girls that go for the "bad guys" are hoping they can change the guy or they will chance for them. the girls are idiots, or maybe they are trying to get a "good guy" to notice them. and they will most likey be in troble (with the law, or hurt) because of the "bad guy"

huge difference...wild guys aren't necessarily bad guys. In college, I was wild as buck, but I was still a good guy. No one looked at me and said "oh, he's wild tonight, he must be a bad boy" it was usually more so "he's wild tonight, but you know, he's a good guy"

Lappy, ever thought of doing a summer thing at Yellowstone? You get to stay in a national park for the summer, do some mildly crap work (which is never difficult) but you get to be in a national park, get paid for it and live with a bunch of other people your age from all around the country. I didn't do it, but I had a lot of friends who did do it one summer and loved it. Gets you out of the state (which is real drag because I've lived in it too...probably in a town smaller than yours) gets you some money (food and lodging is paid for) and gets you around some cool kids...because no losers go do something cool like that.

Seriously Nick...that is something to look into. Probably too late for this year, but my daughter spent each summer during college (undergraduate) in a different state. Her College was in Maine and she spent one summer in Wyoming, one in Virginia, one in California, hiked the Appalacian Trail from GA to Maine and then moved to California for Grad school. She spent one summer while in Grad school in Costa Rica.
My goodness, with your FFA background, I'm sure there is someplace cool for you to spend some time away from home.
You could also tailor something to work with your goals and future education.

Remember one thing about tatoos.........they are permanent. And they fade with time. And unless you have plenty of money and a pretty good tolerance for pain, you will never get completely rid of it. Make sure you want it and make sure where you put it is really what you will want 50 years from now. I'm sure you've seen older men with those faded and smeared tatoos..........that's the way they all end eventually. I'm not one for piercings (especially on males.......but, that's probably my age), but they will close up over time when you decide you no longer want that stud in your ear or nose..

True, DEW...i have thought about it, but dont know what i want or where i want to put it. piercings not for me, now i dont mind (kind of like) belly rings on girls, as for ear rings as long as they dont like a ton in each ear, about 2-3 a ear is fin with me.

esorlxaw- you make a good point also, i could not count that high to tell you how many girls at my school have one on there lower back, and in all the girls i have seen with one on there lower back i have only liked one. (i'm sure that will be hard to figger out :lol: )

I would like to go somewhere for about a week as soon as i get out of h/s but, since im out of cash because of the race thats not going to happan....and the money i get for graduation im going to save for maybe 2 more races this year. (Nashville bush or truck race, and maybe Dega in the fall)

i would like to go to Crew School in NC but thats $$$ ($7,500) for 3 months, plus i got to get my own place to stay...ect ect....so im going to foget about that for a few more years.

MY FFA background, i never sould learn much about the animals, Tabacco judgen im fair in...but what i have done in FFA is kind of low on the totom poll, but it dose count when i have been in threre for 3 years and have done 3 contest, and went to FFA Camp for 2!

Geting a job, ha....i have tryed that and it never worked, i did work at froggy seating up that frog, untell (as Steph says) the frog said i sexual abused it and i had to quit.....but theres not truth to that, i got beat up by the frog :lol: but really that was not for me and was not working out, plus my bosses where jerks.

Girls dont necessarily go after the "bad guys" but its just that the "good guys" dont pose much of a challenge to them. They see "bad guys" as a challenge, whatever that challenge may be, so they go after it. Fact: 99% of all females want something they cant have.

ok im going to hide for a while. dont know why cant be put in the doghouse, but still going to shut up! :lol:

My problem is im shy, not happy about it. and when i have a lot of stuff going on i really am shy, Since i have been rasied by my dad for most of my life, and had no brothers or sisters around, and growing up in BFE i was around family but never did get along with my Cuzs, so when i started school i became friends with a lot of ppl.....but something happand and i dont know what and eversince about 2nd or 3ed grade i have kept to my self not that i want to, i just never did jump on the band waggon for anything. and always been myself.....but my dad has been wraped up in geting his education and crap i have been stuck home with nothing to do, and that has made me shy because the olny time im around ppl is school, church, ect ect......i have been told when you get to know me i have a wonderfull personalty, but you got to put with with my shyness 1st, thats one reasion i want to leave for the summer get around new ppl and see if i cant get leave the shyness here....but i need to go some where that i know a few ppl and could stay with for about a week, and they could show me around the area.

ohhh boy, im sure that made a lot of sence.
