Been Thinkin'

Dont sweat it bro... eventually you will grow out of your shyness... or meet a girl that thinks your shyness is cute.

Besides, enjoy the time you have being single. Girls = drama. :p If you only knew everything that me and my girlfriend/ex-girlfriend/best-friend/whatever she is have been through for the past 5-6 years.

?????what did he just say???????

Lappy...some girls/women are born with the "gimmies" and they die with the "wants". Note that I said "some", not all.

Dated a few of them myself years ago. It will drive you nuts. I was a "bad boy" myself once upon a time and had a very hot girlfriend for several years. I settled down and quit smoking dope, etc because she asked me to. Then she complained that I settled down too much.

It is a vicious cycle that is certainly not worth being involved in.

The key isn't in figuring out the unfigurable ones, it is in finding one that has a clue about what she wants and giving it to her. But, not at the expense of your own well being. Love is a verb, it involves giving and taking. But, when only one person gives it ain't love. There are many words for it, but it ain't love. ;)

good points 4x! :)

im not worried about finding anyone right now,

just wondering if it was true girls go 4 the bad boys, or was it just me that thought that.

Sorry, I wouldnt know, I'm not going to the school prom this weekend because you know, I'm one of those guys who prefers to stay home playing Dungeons and Dragons ;)

Tell ya what...why don't you send me the 200 bucks you would have spent on dinner, tux, and flowers. Then you can feel just as jilted at the end of the night!

:D

Lappy, there is not one thing wrong with you going to your Senior Prom without a date. BOTH of my step-daughters went to their Senior Proms without dates. They just got a group of girls and went! All dressed up! Here at our high school they have what they call "Project Celebration". It is like a lock-in where the kids go after the prom is over and play games, and just have a good time while being safe. Of course, it is drug and alcohol free! Think about it, but just enjoy your last days a Senior in high school! ;)

"That" didnt work out to well because we were all smashed, hit the beach like at 4 in the morning, came back to the hotel, and we all crashed, like 20 of us in one hotel room. The next morning was a different story though. ;)

Good times. Good times.

lets see, I went to prom 4 times...1st time I went with a friend when I was a sophomore, we just hung out and made fun of people, I danced with some girl who liked me though. 2nd time, I went to another schools prom (also my sophomore year) with one of a set of twins...don't get any cool ideas, they were the least wild or even remotely excitable twins ever...it sucked, we didn't even dance, I think their church was against it or something. 3rd time was my own junior prom, I went alone, but got one of the cuter girls to be in my pictures...all the memories...none of the cost. However, My senior yeat, I had a kilt made of my family tartan, i also had a girlfriend and she and her mom made this oriental looking dress...so we got all gussied up and went to McDonalds...woo hoo. Save the cash if you know what I mean, we had a good time at prom. Basically, doesn't matter if you go alone, My junior year, I got a turquoise tux and one of my friends got a purple one, so we went around all night acting like Italian Gangster Cliches...kind of fun...plus, it allowed me to randomly stand next to pretty girls and have my friend take pictures...looked like I was with them...but i wasn't...yeah, i'm a big loser...guess I'll go play more video games.

That reminds me...we had some guys dress up like the Village People...that got interesting...

I didn't go to my Junior Prom, it interfered with Dega race weekend...

But I did go to my Senior Prom with a group of friends. Some of them had dates, some of them didn't. We went out to eat at a place in Carrollton, GA, cost less than ten bucks, and boy was the drive over there interesting. Ever had a truck full of plumbers follow you? haha! And while my best friend couldn't afford her car payment cause she bought a $300 prom dress, I found mine in two seperate stores. Skirt in one store, top in the other. Cost about $50. I wasn't about to pay hundreds of dollars on a dress I was gonna wear one time. I got so many compliments on my dress, nobody knew I got it off the sales rack! My mom even did my hair...no charge! haha.

Prom doesn't have to be expensive unless you make it that way.

I'll see if I can put up pictures from my prom... cant put the after party pictures up though... too crazy. ;)
