Better Call Saul

Damn... I was wondering when season 3 was starting. Turns out I missed the premiere.

I've been meaning to re-watch season 2... I've heard S3 basically shows the 'birth' of Saul Goodman.
I they do it like most everything else, the previous week's will be on prior to each new episode.

I did as well. That Mike is one badass. I like the show overall but I like following his storyline the most. Next weeks preview centered around him looks awesome.
I'm exactly the same. One thing I am curious about though is the opening sequence of him in Cinibon that starts each of the seasons. I'm under the assumption this Cinibon gig is post-Breaking Bad, but now he has passed out? Are we sometime going to get some insight or context to this situation?

I suppose they can use this stuff for the series finale whenever it comes around.

I'm curious as well.

This has to be an interesting series to create/write. I mean, with storylines down the road already being known, it has to be fun to get the known characters to that point in time. Some of these characters have never been seen in BB. Did they actually exist during that time and we just didn't see them? Kim for example..... I hate to think anything happens to her. I think it will really get even more interesting in the future should we see the story carry on into the BB time period from another point of view.

I think I read somewhere that the Cinnabon "job" is a carryover from Breaking Bad where Saul references his future if he ever has to "dissapear" .

I'm caught up on the first two episodes. I really like this show, but I have to say this season is moving a little slow so far. I know they're probably setting up for something bigger, but it seemed like half of last night's episode was Mike in a car.

I guess we all look at these things differently. I thought the show was awesome, as usual.

We got to see the beginnings of Mikes relationship with Gus Fring, starting with the cash pickup points. Also, Gus's right hand man, later to have his throat slit in BB by Gus himself, made his first appearance in the pickup behind the Chicken Joint.

The phone call to Mike at the end..... Can't wait to see where that leads.

I don't have much of a problem with the pace of the show. Everything that happens on that show turns out to be significant on down the line. It's obvious that there is a lot of thought that goes into each and every episode. Good stuff all around IMO.

I love the new background info we're finally getting on Hector and Gus Fring. Going to have to start watching Breaking Bad again so I can see the aftermath again.

Damnnn... McGill implosion tonight. Loved the last scene. Exactly what I was hoping for.

I re-watched BB before this season's BCS. That series was awesome and that same level of writing continued into this series. The tie-ins to BB seem to be occurring on a weekly basis. Good stuff week after week.

Was cool to see Huell Babineaux on this past weeks show. Picking up right where he left off picking pockets.

This season is getting really good now. I thought the first two episodes moved a little slow, but the last three have been great.

Last week when Kim left talking to Chuck abut the tape, came back to Jimmy and said "bingo." I was wondering what was up their sleeves. Nicely played.
