What do you think are the biggest college football rivalries today. No doubt that it will probably be based on where you live, but if you can take the entire country in question, what would be the best rivalry? Many rivalries include teams from the same conference, but there are some great rivalries that are of teams that are not in the same conference such as USC vs. ND. My own personal thought is of course, OU vs. UT and that one started long before they were in the same conference.

Speak out, what do you think?

It isn't as big now, but Texas vs. A&M was always a cause for war here in Texas.

I never missed the Army vs. Navy game --- mainly because my grandfather was Army and my dad was Navy.

Auburn vs Alabama is a great rivalry. Georgia vs. Alabama is great, too

And you are so right about OU vs. UT ---- and UT vs. Arkansas was always fun. :)

Ohio State vs Michigan is in my opinion the biggest rivalry in sports period. But then, I would think that since I am from the Buckeye state.

Of course, Alabama-Auburn, Army-Navy, USC-ND, Florida State-Miami, and Appalachian State-Michigan are pretty good too. ;)

Texas vs. oklahoma
Texas vs. arkansas
Noone has more hatred for Texas than arkansas...noone.

Other than that, I like to watch Bama vs. auburn, florida state vs miami, michigan vs tosu, nebraska vs. oklahoma, tamu vs. Texas tech.

Of course, I'd have to put Texas vs. Oklahoma #1. If Texas played Arkansas every year again, it would be a toss up between these two.

Alabama-Auburn....the entire state stops for the game and losers have to put up with the winners for the next 365 days.

Ohio State-Michigan....just as intense as 'Bama and Auburn

Texas-Oklahoma...the winner gets a river.

Army-Navy.....reminds me of a joke I heard...."Why doesn't the Marine Corps have a football program? They are too busy defending a country than a quarterback.:D Still a great game

Miami-Florida State....the winning team gets "get out of jail" cards for a year.

USC-Notre Dame....battle of the overrated media darlings.

How's ol Applewhite working out for your boys, fergy?? Hopefully, he'll be returning to Texas soon...as OC !!

He's been a breath of fresh air and a heck of a hire. I'm hoping he sticks around and becomes HC after Saban leaves...

He has been a 'Bama fan all his life, named after Major Ogilvie, an Alabama RB. I think it was Coach Dubose who had a chance to sign him as a player and passed him by...

Still hearing rumors about a home and home with your boys starting in 2010. Hope it happens and 'Bama starts having a strong out of conference schedule.

Here in the Sunshine State we have the great instate rivalries between Florida-Florida State and Miami-Florida State. Then there's Florida-Georgia (The World's Largest Outdoor ****tail Party) and Florida State-Clemson (The Bowden Bowl). I think Notre Dame has a bunch of rivals-Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State, Boston College and Navy.
