Bonehead of the week: Dover

I'll give it to Dillon but then again, Keselowski's spotter needs to call something like that out.
 
I was going to say Austin Dillon's interior specialist(stickerbombed with the same damn sticker)...


But after reading some of this ****, anyone giving Larson the BoTR title after yesterday is the bonehead.

He took a ton of crap for that. Have to think that this played into how he drove yesterday.

Larson had him too there at the end but got loose and gave it back.....nice, clean but hard racing.

You shouldn't need to divebomb and dale Earnhardt people for a win - Edwards did it to Harvick and Busch and he is 1-1 using it.

Larson got to Kenseths bumper and gave him a nudge and moved him up the track then got under him but tried to stay off of him and ended up getting lose and losing momentum.

I'm good with a young gun racing a veteran clean.

Johnson: "As soon as I went from second and tried to go to third, I kind of got up into the neutral gate of the transmission and didn't even go to third. It stopped before it ever went to third. And then I tried fourth and third and fourth and eventually I got hit from behind. There was a long pause there where I was trying to, I thought maybe I missed a shift; but it wouldn't go in gear.

Larson should have moved Kenseth, he had the faster car and should have won, drivers realize when they get caught at the end of race they will probably get moved. He didn't have to wreck just bump and run, he let one go, cup races are not easy to win and when you get the chance, do what you need to do!

Larson did try to move him - as clean as anyone can. He got lose and couldn't make up the loss of momentum as Kenseth changed lines so Larson couldn't try again. Maybe Kenseth just did a damn good job. :idunno:

He tried to move him, he didn't try to wreck him which evidently is not okay.
 
The Larson and Kenseth battle was fantastic and then when Chase joined them it became even better. Fantastic racing. Larson had a great car but we all could see how difficult it was to pass on that track. Larson was certainly driver of the day for me, despite narrowly missing out.

I would give Bonehead to the 4's pit crew - multiple slow stops cost them a better finish for sure.
