Bonehead of the week: Phoenix II

Hard to pick a bonehead this week since I didn't see the truck or the X races. I guess from Cup I'll have to go with Kyle Busch for roughing up Bowman on the restart and Bowman and Kenseth got into it and Kenseth spun and ending his Chase hopes.

Kyle Busch because he nearly took Justin Allgaier out of the Xfinity championship yesterday and today took out Kenseth. He's the biggest piece of crap in NASCAR for sure.

I was rooting for Matt to make it to the finale, but that was more his fault or at least his spotters fault. He was not clear and he paid the price for the mistake.
I hate it, I would have preferred him making over the other two.

Kyle Busch for his post-race interview, whining yet again about Carl Edwards' bump-and-run victory at Richmond last spring. Give it up, Kyle, you got beat that day.

As for the late restart today, one can reasonably say the 20 wrecked himself, or one can reasonably say it was "just one of them racin' deals," but to blame that on the 18 or the 88 is just ridiculous, IMO.

Ryan Newman and Kyle Larson seem to find each other at Phoenix a lot. As a Larson fan I could be biased and say Newman, but I have to go with Kyle Busch. He screwed his own teammate out of a championship shot.

Idk how you can go spotter over driver here. Kenseth had Bowman cleared just a few feet past the start/finish, he could have easily dropped down and protected his position right away. He also could have given up the position and probably 2nd and 3rd and been ok. He wasn't big picture racing imo.
