Early vote goes to Denny Hamlin. Instead of finishing the race and collecting points, he wrecked himself out trying to win and just cost Kyle 100 points.

Stupidest move, ever.

didn't see the choices (put andy on ignore) but i'll go with biffle.

My husband and I thought Kez was at fault for the 18 & 16 getting together. He was really pushing it. I'm starting to not care for Kez all that much. Seems like everyone just likes him because he's driven for Jr. Just wait until next season when he's driving for someone else and he causes a problem for JR. I'll bet anything all the JR fans will drop him like a hot potato.

I didn't see the race but saw the replays. The Brad Denny Greg thing seemed like an accident to me. Not saying that just cause I'm a Jr fan and Brad drives for Jr...so don't come up in here thinking that.

The Greg and Joey thing idk seemed kind of the same also. Keep in mind with both I've just saw the wrecks and not post race comments from anyone about any of them. Since I didn't see this race as I felt like crap. I'll watch the race or just watch the Cup race and pick from it.

And my wife and I didn't see where he was the cause at all. Three guys battling for the lead..... They're all pushing it! Personally, I wouldn't want to see anything less.

It's also kinda funny how Jr. and Jr. fans get drug into these kind of posts. I didn't even realize he was racing last night. You may find it surprising that there are actually Keselowski fans out there that aren't Jr. fans. Go figure.

Heck, Jr gets blamed for everything, makes no difference whether or not he is driving. We need rain here in the Triad and they are blaming Jr for the lack of. :)

Back on topic....I give Hamlin the early Bonehead award with Kez a close second.

For the life of me, I can't see how Earnhardt is being blamed for that crash.

What I get of it is that Earnhardt fans a quick to jump to Keselowski's defense because he's associated with JR Motorposrts and when he's driving for another team next year, will that happen when he races Earnhardt the same way he's been racing everyone else.

As for the crash, Biffle shouldn't have put himself into that situation so he's responsible for he got and I think that the #18 drove it too hard through that corner.

Hamlin claimed that Keselowski was going to wreck him either way and that, IMO, is a huge load of BS.

If anything #88 was backing off and #18 was heading for the wall all by himself.

As for bonehead move, the two people who called another driver a coward without him being there to defend himself are the ones that need to do some thinking.

Biffle. He purposely tried to drag logano back, then sticks his nose where it shouldn't have been. The racing line at fontana is just like darlington- the higher, the better. He was in the preferred line yes, but he should have expected Kez and Denny to use up every inch of the track. The correct move in my mind would have been for Biff to pull a crossover and duck under them.

Hambone is again proving the shrub disease is contagious, it's never his fault, every other driver should just pull over and let him go.

He's still a young Diva in this sport. Remember the current champ and the hands down favorite to win again, used to be that way. Maybe Denny is just trying to copy what has been successful in the past?

Bonehead goes to the #48 crew. I counted 3 times they lost 4 spots or more on pit road. They didn't even really mess up except for one lug nut. They were just slow.

Good thing JJ had a good enough car to make it back to the front, otherwise they would have cost him the race.

Who was the guy that got into the lead, and then ran into Montoya? My vote goes to him.

They won the race. That cancels out any boneheads. Just like Stewart and his speeding penalty. He took the wave around and got a couple of timely cautions to finish in 5th.

Bonehead as to be Hamlin for today. I thought yesterday was a racing deal. Today was plain stupid. Honorary bonehead goes to Tom Logano for flipping off Biffle after the NNS race and getting his hard card revokes by NASCAR.

I agree with you all! Goes to Hamlin easily, but atleast he admitted that it was his stupidity.

Also goes to Kasey Kahne by trying to get a bit extra fans by telling off NASCAR.

Just because he won doesn't mean his crew weren't boneheads yesterday. If his car wasn't so good, they easily would have cost him the win.

Normally I would have nominated Hamlin for his actions in the Cup race, but at least he admitted it was a stupid move.

I nominate Andy for watching a race he posted saying he wasn't going to watch then writes repeated posts *****ing about a race he said he wasn't going to watch.

Oh yeah! Good point!

I change my nomination to Andy.

And you say I'm a troll.

I watched the race because I thought it might be as good as the Nationwide race.... and because nothing else was on.

I have to nominate Denny Hamlin for wrecking both races with a strong 2nd to Biffle the coward.

I think my husband and I thought it was Brad's fault in the NW race due to how he was racing before the accident happened. The way the camera shot was, it was almost too hard to tell if there was a bump from the back or not because at that time, it looked like Brad was fine and didn't do anything.

The only reason I mentioned Brad and Junior fans is because most of the people I know are fans of both and well, some Junior fans are a tad ummm.. fanatical. I feel sorry for the guy. He's had a lot he has to try to live up to and if the media would have left him alone and not shoved him down everyone's throats so much, I don't think there would be that many people who turn the "getting sick of hearing about him" into dislike for the guy.

I really don't know what to think about the Biffle/Logano thing because I had to go back and watch myself. I think Biffle was an idiot for saying that on his radio although I know a lot of guys say things in the heat of the moment. What I can't remember is if this was some little feud brewing or if it started this weekend?? Anyway, the timing of Biffles comments and then the wreck, make it suspect.

Hamlin definitely made the bonehead move in the Cup race. And yes, he did blame himself. How refreshing. :)

And I say we leave other posters on this forum OUT of the discussion.

If you don't like what someone thinks, DON'T read their posts. Personally, I'm getting tired of the pick, pick, pick.

End of discussion.

I have nearly quit frequenting this board because of the negative attitudes of a few people.

So, it seems like the majority think it was Hamlin's move as Bonehead of the Race. I can buy that thinking. :)

It was clearly his fault. Just seems like those JGR cars just love coming down in front of people and crashing them self. At least Denny took blame for it unlike Kyle....
