Bonehead of the Week: Texas

Yes, indeed --- but none of them were leading the race at the time. When you have such a dominate car, you shouldn't take the chance.

You are correct TRL.

btw, it isn't necessarily a bonehead move for teams that would otherwise have no chance of winning, to gamble on fuel. Unless the points situation would have an adverse affect, like Martin's team a while back, that was also a bonehead move. Other teams it might be a good gamble.

If kyle did come in he still would have lost...so the point is null and void. Go ahead and keep the hate alive

With kyle's car he could have come in and fueled many laps ago with a splash only and still been able to get to the front. It is called smart racing.

In listening to the radio feeds of various drivers, the crews were counting on a late caution as is normally the case. It's pretty easy to go back and second guess after the fact.

Bucky, where on Earth did you get the idea that I hate Kyle? I admire his talent to no end. Personally, I think he needs to do a little growing up, but that will come. *fingers crossed*

I still think that with such a fast, dominant car, coming in for fuel would have been the smart idea.

Like I said If anyone gives Kyle the bone head you have to give ALL of them bone heads

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. This is why I hate these races that come down to fuel mileage.
