Bowyer apologizes to Newman

Apologized for what? According to NASCAR there was no conclusive evidence that Clint did anything wrong. :confused:
 
Bowyer's a stand up guy - I imagine he genuinely feels ill about what he had to do. His team basically ordered him to spin out and deliberately screw over one of his friends because his teammate didn't perform well enough to make the Chase.

If Bowyer was a stand up guy, He would have stood up to Mikey
 
Clint Bowyer may be uncomfortable being a cheating scapegoat in public but he is definitely not a stand up guy.
 
I think Kurt and Kyle came out of all this with their dignity in tact . Seems they've passed the black hat to Clint to wear for a while . Couldn't have happened to two nicer guys .;)

I've told my boss worse than kiss my ass before...because he had it coming.
From now on, Clint is a cheating punk. This will be a part of his career regardless of his accomplishments.

When is the last time you broke your moral code by following your boss's unethical orders and having your face recognized as the biggest embarrassment in the organization's history?
 
I haven't told one to kiss my ass but I've certainly told them no I'm not doing that and there were no repercussions.

Bowyers a team player and did what he was asked as a business owner myself I respect that.

I'm amazed how high and holy so many have become over this over the years I've seen much much worse. But I guess anymore the world is filled with PC whiners instead of people that just stand up and handle whats handed to them.

It's time for Clint to recalibrate his moral compass. Cheating is not what I'd want to be remembered for if I were "a team player."
You win as a team, you lose as a team and you cheat as a team.
