How much? Think he went over the line criticizing the ''on track product''. I think he had every right too.

Q) What happened in the accident?Bowyer: "First of all I wasn't behind the 44 (Reed Sorenson), he came flying around and came up on the apron, jumped up in front of me and then runs over the 51 (Justin Allgaier), stacks us all up and I run into him. It's idiotic to be out here doing this anyway. It makes no sense in being able to put on some cute show for whatever the hell this is, then you have a guy out there in desperation doing this crap like this. There's no reason to be out here. These guys have spent six months working on these cars, busting their asses on these cars to go out there and have some guy out of desperation do that crap, but it ain't his fault. It's not, it's NASCAR's fault for putting us out here in the middle of this crap for nothing. We used to come down here and worry about who was going to sit on the front row and the pole for the biggest race of the year and now all we do is come down here and worry about how a start-and-park like this out of desperation is going to knock us out of the Daytona 500. We've been in meetings for 45 minutes just trying to figure out what in the hell everybody is going to do just so we can make the race. There's no sense in doing this."
Q) Is there blame to be placed for the accident?
Bowyer: "It wasn't his fault, he's desperate and trying to get into the biggest race of the year. We need to be focused on qualifying and who is going to sit on the pole for the biggest race of the year and the front row just like we always have. There's no reason to be putting a show on and trying to make something out of something that doesn't need to be. We put a hell of a show on for the Daytona 500 and unfortunately these guys have worked the last six months for nothing

I want to agree with with but nah.

Just because he was harsh on Sorenson calling him a start and park. The balls on that guy...

Remember when he called Waltrip the worst NASCAR driver? Well that turn out nicely.

Now he's talking about start and parkers like they ain't ****. In a few years I hope he's one of them.

$100,000 and has to clean Brian's beach house with a tooth brush...... but...... if any of you ever watched the Green Mile..... 'It was worth it'........

No fine or punishment for this one
Like a few weeks after Brian said "you can't criticize the on-track product" or something like that? Clint is going to get hit with something, even though he's completely correct.

Remember, he will be subject to a penalty for leaving his car before receiving approval to do so. In theory that penalty should be unrelated to his comments.

I wondered about that, shouldnt that penalty be applied moments after the infraction though ?

hell Boyer needs a medal, I wish they all would boycott the next one save us all from the misery

All the drivers complained before after and during the side show, why wouldnt they all get together and just say no ? If Dale Earnhardt were around things would be different

I am just thank God that my son and wife didnt have to hear Clints unfortunate thoughts.
Clint definitely needs to be shamed and purged.

1. Scourge the malfactor with a whip.

2. Then castrate him. It is unfortunate but Clint is just to self willed for the good of Nascar and something has to be done. Casteration would most likely help him and Nascar both, afterwards he can sing Nascar praises better than ever.

3. After the casteration confine him to solitary in a sealed leak proof cell, that has zero plumbing for two weeks with no escapeage for liguids or solids . It is not as bad as it sounds he would be provided with bottled water while being sanctified and purged. Allowing Clint to live in his own corruption for a period of time would allow him to reconsider his priorities.

4. Finally to assure a proper purging put him in a cell with the Village People types on the hopped up steroids for a week to drive the point home.

Afterwards Clint will be a lot sweeter the way Brian and Nascar wants him cause sweet talking drivers built Nascar and that is what it is all bout.

The qualifying is bull****. The best commitees pack gangs get the best lap.

Team work and collusion the name of the game.

Hell it ain't over yet. Now they have another race that doesn't mean anything just to get a spot in the real race.

But soon the "new package" will be on the track and the racing will be the best we have seen in years, I am looking forward to it

Not excited about Brians package.

What castration procedure do you recommend? I like the the 2 brick method used to do camels.

That sounds right to me. I think he needs to listen to Brian Framce press conferences during the purification.
Maybe some Mikey Waltrip commentary as well for some ass kissing lessons during the procedure.

There's gotta be penalties for climbing out of his car. Also, NASCAR probably frowns upon the fact that he went to Sorensen's car before he put down the window net.

I agree with Clint and I don't think nascar will penalize him. I feel sorry that drivers have to have anything to do with RP racing but lots of idiots like watching wrecks and the networks need the wrecks to promote nascar's show

I find RP racing interesting from a strategic standpoint and I think that this forum is a bit too hard on it. The rules package of the late 90s - early 2000s really did a good job of emphasizing the strategy part of it. Pack racing is a lot of fun to watch. It just sucks when they run single file.

I like seeing a giant pack roaring to the checkers with guys jostling for position and trying to find the best line to set themselves up for a good finish.

I don't think he should be fined at all. Guess you never listened to George Carlin who said it right "it's only words". This country needs to get back to what it was before all this PC Crap.

I am all for letting Clint cuss during his purification. He can even use Carlins dictionary. Just add in Brian washing out his potty mouth with a Nascar appoved sponsored soap.
