Brad Keselowski: 'I'm not buying into the villain thing'

Since Kez joined Penske they have been a contender and a winner of a championship...nuf said.
Ain't no two car team that can touch them.

I really couldn't care less what Brad says in an interview. What he does on the track is what we pay to see. He is aggressive and takes chances some won't take and some don't like. Trying to diminish the fact that he has only won one Championship is childish. He hasn't been in cup racing very long and he has already accomplished more than most drivers out there. Will he be the next Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, who knows and only time will tell. One thing is very clear, he wins and pretty often. The only people who really cares about the things he says and does off the track are likely the same kind of people who read tabloids. The bottom line is he is a racer and no one can deny the fact that he is a threat to win every time he is on the track.

If I was a cup car owner Brad is the type of driver I would want running my cars. He will get the most out of it every race. You may have a heap of broken busted metal when it's over, but you may end up with a championship. To me that is what the sport of racing is supposed to be about.

Brad is an instigator. Whether that makes him a villain or not, I guess the fans will ultimately decide that.

Brad is a high risk high reward kind of driver. Brad is the anti-Mark Martin in all senses. On and off track, it seems.

Absolutely everybody here agrees with you that Brad is a good driver. It's the human side of him the fans AND his fellow drivers have a problem with. As long has he takes unnecessary risks, assumes to be the spokesperson for all the drivers in the garage, OR whenever he opens his mouth and stupid comes out, he'll have problems with the rest of the field. AKA, getting no break from competitors OR even from his teammate Logano. When asked about Brad, Logano had nothing to say but a chuckle. . . . . .having the opportunity to praise his teammate but said nothing instead, that speaks volumes IMO.

It is real hard to take you and many others serious when you are obviously a Gordo fan.o_O

Don't hate Gordon, he's a good driver, but some of his fans are off the hook. He surly doesn't need me rooting for him. But the article did say if you are a Gordon fan don't read this.

I don't care about his human side. I care that he can wheel a car. As I said if I was the owner of his car all I would care about is him being able to win me races and championships. What you, Harvick, Gordon or any other driver thinks is an unnecessary risk can and has won him races. As far as getting breaks from other drivers, it doesn't look like many drivers do that for any other driver now. And truthfully I wouldn't want them to. They are not supposed to give breaks they are supposed to win. EVERY SINGLE driver in the entire series has said stupid stuff, Brad included. They all whine, cry, and moan about something during there stint in this series.

I have also seen Logano chuckle in about every interview he does. He is pretty laid back and happy go lucky. I wouldn't read too much into that.

Let me guess, you are still hung up on the mistake Gordon made last year?

BURP.

Not sure I get your response. Maybe I am just new and don't get the response. From looking at your other posts I assume you don't care for Brad either? If that's the case no problem. There are plenty of Drivers I don't root for either. When Gordon first came on the scene I didn't like him either. All the coverage seemed to be about him while other drivers didn't get a mention. Gordon ended up proving he deserved the attention. He is one of the best for sure and I believe Nascar is better for having him in it. I certainly don't root for him to win but I can recognize he is good for the sport because he is one of the greats.

Hey now!...I'm usually that guy and I have a wealth of wisdom I try to disseminate. Like: Did you know the moon's orbit around the earth is not actually a perfect circle?...or that all Australian Aborigines can roll their tongues?

You sound like Cliff Claven:)

It's a long standing joke of mine. Your post gave me gas.

Your love for Brad is showing. What shrine are you going to worship at in 2016.???

Some more of your effing business!

After 2015 who are you gonna whine and cry about? :nyanya:

I'm sure Brad will offer up plenty of fodder for ripping him a new one. :eatpointe

Don't forget, I am Team Penske so I always have 2 cars to cheer for and when Ryan runs in the 21, I will have 3.
