Brad Keselowski posting about crazy Kyle Busch rumors

It has nothing to do with Sirius. Turner owns the broadcast rights for NASCAR's internet broadcasts. Until the allow it to happen or their contract runs out, no Sirius NASCAR Radio online..... legally.....

I understand not playing the races, but no reason why Sirius couldn't put the whole channel and daily show online (minus the races)

UPDATE2: Aric Almirola told ESPN.com on Thursday he has been contacted by Joe Gibbs Racing about possibly replacing Kyle Busch in the final two Sprint Cup races and is awaiting final word from the organization. ESPN's Marty Smith reported on SportsCenter and NASCARNow that Busch, according to sources, will be in the #18 Cup car this weekend at Phoenix and next weekend at Homestead. Multiple sources said the car likely will be sponsored by Interstate Batteries instead of M&Ms, which was scheduled to be on the car. Mars Incorporated, which manufacturers M&Ms, stated its displeasure with Busch over his intentionally wrecking Ron Hornaday in last Friday's Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. But according to sources the sponsor still had reservations about having its name on the Cup car with Busch for the last two races, prompting the call to Almirola. Almirola said JGR president J.D. Gibbs contacted him on Wednesday to see if he would be available. Almirola, who drives a Chevrolet for JR Motorsports in the Nationwide Series, said JRM has given him permission to drive for the Toyota team. "Your guess is as good as mine,'' Almirola told ESPN.com before Nationwide practice at PIR as to what will happen. "I know they're working through a lot of things. I just told them I was available if they needed me.''(ESPN)

MRN's Dave Moody explains it like this.....

We have talked about this frequently over the last couple of years, but here's the explanation again, in a nutshell. Regardless of the names of its individual programs Sirius NASCAR Radio is a NASCAR-branded product. Turner Sports (owners of NASCAR.com) holds the exclusive rights to stream all NASCAR-branded content on the internet. Sirius has attempted to negotiate a reasonable deal with Turner to put our talk shows on the worldwide web, but has unfortunately been unable to do so.

I have had dozens of conversations with the folks at Sirius World Headquarters in NYC about this, and believe me when I say that they would LOVE to be able to add an online component for everyone to enjoy. It's simply not possible right now.

Like I said before. It's not going to happen until Turner's contract is up. I think that we'll be seeing many changes about online content at that point.

i like aric but this is not the way i like seeing him getting a ride.

Not to get off subject but its almost justice for Aric. Remember him leading that Busch race all fricken night and was almost locked to win when Denny Hamlin showed up and the sponsor demanded that he drive the car. And he went on to win the race.

yep, aric was royally pissed about that and rightfully so.

Anyone hear anything about this?

Red Bull is one of two parties that made it clear they wanted to talk to Kyle Busch. It was mentioned that they were interested in purchasing the KBR operation, and wanted to campaign 2 Cup cars for next year (including a ride for Kyle).

Like I said, drivers like Kyle are rare, and they will always be in demand. It's simple, everyone wants to win. That's the way it's always been.

Joe Gibbs knew that to get rid of Kyle, JGR would have to compete against him. And, that might not be the smart thing to do. Apparently, M&M decided something along the same lines.
Can you imagine? First, Kyle is not good enough to sell candy, then a couple of days later he is. What a bunch of baloney.

Kyle-Joe Gibbs news conference is at 11:30 ET/9:30 MT (Arizona is on Mountain time).

I know that Sirius/XM NASCAR Radio is covering this. I don't know about Speed. Chance are it will be available on nascar.com

Heh, I wonder WHY a sponsor would pay for a decal under the hood. I thought the whole point of sponsorship was visibility.

I guess they know what they are doing since we are all talking about the decals under the hood.

Here is the answer I got back from him
And no, I do not have "links" to subjects that I speak about. I'll just say that my brother is still very much in the auto performance circles. He has a succesful business, and received recognition for it at the SEMA show. He gets to talk to many racing insiders.

Saw this elsewhere.....

Now that 11:11 on 11/11/11 has passed, the Twitter timeline has resumed being all #18-#18-#18-#18-#18-#18-#18-#18.

Kyle Busch here to answer questions in deadline room; wearing a button down blue shirt with no identifiable sponsor logos.

Kyle Busch to face more penalties from JGR.

Joe Gibbs says he never considered firing Kyle Busch over the drivers' road rage incident in the Truck Series race at Texas.

But Gibbs says Busch will face more punishment from the race team, including financial penalties.
