I guess she went pretty far on America's Got Talent or some such show. She's from nearby Smithfield, Virginia, and was the headliner in our annual Poquoson Seafood Festival this year. I thought "yeah, whatever, some tv show, pop singer, blah blah." But damn, she absolutely rocked it. Tremendous bluesy voice, good backing band, and absolutely nailed everything she did.
