Brian Vickers - I'll be back.

Every driver you mentioned has done no different, better or worse than any of the others you didn't. If we're going to bring up what Kenseth has done to other drivers, then I think we should also mention what THAT driver(s) has also done to others. Not one of the drivers you talked about being wrong by #17 is anyway, shape or forum innocent of the same. Remember what Stewart did to Kenseth a few years back in the 500?

As Vickers, his actions last year speak for themselve, 100%, and what has gone on bewteen other drivers in no way vindcates him.

Vickers did exactly what I would have done. The incident with Kenseth was the only wreck he knowingly was involved in during that race. Every other incident was a racing deal (except the first time Kenseth intentionally dumped him). It's pretty easy to sit here and criticize Vickers from the confines of a keyboard, but neither of us have been in one of those cars. I'm just saying that Kenseth isn't exactly innocent.

As I said above, just about every incident Harvick's intentionally caused, the person on the receiving end has had it coming.

Pretty much all of the Nascar drivers came up in other forms of racing where you give no quarter. Tough , tough racing , where you have to win to move up to the next series . As Tony Stewart says ..you have to be prepared to wreck your own mother to win. I really don't see calling one driver a dirty driver and the other not. We all know that all of them have and will wreck the other if necessary. The only exception MIGHT be 'Gentleman Ned Jarrett' ... I don't see any others with 'gentleman' in their name.

Well, if that's the way you see it, we'll leave it at that and let the thread get back on topic - Vickers threat to return to Sprint cup.

Always good debating with you, Andy

Benny Parsons. Mark Martin. Dale Jarrett. Bobby Labonte.

Logano (Pocono 2010, ) kept chop blocking him. Logano did it with like 3 laps to go in a race.

Harvick had the inside line, and Joey never crowded him. Harvick backed off to get on Joeys quarterpanel and never turned. Kevin CLEARLY ran into the high line in turn 3. Kevin needed a yellow to try for the win, so he made on.

Turn 3 at Pocono is one of the few tracks where this can be settled very easily because of the patch. High line for turn entry puts your LEFT tires on the patch, which is where Joes is headed. Low line puts your RIGHT side tires on the same patch. Watch and it's clear to see that Kevin never turns to the low line like he should, and Joey runs into him. Joey wasn't even squeezing Kevin in the turn, and Kevin puts his LEFT side tires on the patch.

Kevin is CLEARLY running in the high line, even though Joey had the high line all the way. Rule of thumb Andy. When a guy fails to turn entering a corner, bad things happen.

Racing incident -- Harvick is clearly moving down and Logano's coming off the high lane.

I don't care about the patch. I wasn't aware that only one driver was allowed to drive on the preferred line around the track.

Did you REALLY just say that? How long have you been watching racing?

1 minute in, you'll see exactly how turn 3 is entered.

If you can't argue with some facts Andy, we'll just let it go.

Even after he made himself look bad during the last few races of the season, I will admit Vickers if somewhat more qualified than other current free agents.
