Brickyard 400 Race Thread

Watching this race makes me wish I had something better to do....

OK, it's 100º outside, they're finally having a Sunday race that doesn't conflict with Saturday night short tracks, and I dont have much to do today...let's go racin'!

Damn Johnson. I have never pulled for Martin like I did the last five laps.
 
Johnson is at the point where Gordon was 10 years ago, on my nerves. Can't stand em. Martin still cannot win the big one!
 
Wasn't there a thread last week about why the slump in attendance/broadcast audience?
Perfect example right here of what we all watched today; a snoozer of a race.

One in the same, IndyCalifornia, boring.
 
And the broadcast guys in the booth didn't help matters. Jerry Punch just sucked all the life out of the broadcast.

He had more energy when he just did the baseball commercial for tonight's game. Why didn't he exhibit that energy during the race?
 
Understand something. Indy holds 250,000. Even with 70,000 empty seats they would have more fans than the Daytona 500.

Johnson and Knaus will go down as one of the greatest combinations in Nascar. and, it was another great race by martin. He will be a real threat to win the Championship this year.

Kyle, what have you done lately for you legion of 50 fans.:D
