Well of course I would, he was my fantasy pick. I'd rather not see him win that way though.
I'll put it this way, I hate Jr. but I'd rather see him win a race straight up than Montoya win because of fuel.

6 top tens in 20 races, an average finish of 19th, and 12 finishes of 16th or worse in great equipment is "running great"?He's been running pretty great this year pretty good for someone who is the least talented full time driver aye
That statement is one of the silliest things I have ever heard. Every one of the drivers that started the race today has the talent to win at cup level if the sponsorship dollars are there. I find the amount of money Menards pours into NASCAR admirable.
...with this win Paul Menard has now passed Cindy Merkelstein (12 year old go-cart Champion of Boise Idaho - 1987) as the 448,910-th best driver in American racecar history.
In his victory lane interview Menard said that he didn't want to take anything away from Cindy..."she was one of the best"....."

But you know a win is a win so it doesn't really matter. He's run good this year so its not like he just really got lucky. 4 top 5's and 6 top 10's so that's good.

Yep, this used to be a race where only the best drivers won, drivers who come from the ranks of all time greatness and NASCAR champions.
In back to back years, McMurray and Menard have both won this race. It's not the same anymore.

A first time winner and people still complain? I'm not a Menard fan but dang he just did what he had to do and won......

I am not normally a complainer. I dont complain about Kyle Busch, JJ, Dale Jr, Harvick, nothing. I didnt even complain when Tony Stewart nonsensically wrecked Vickers at Infineon.

OVERGLORIFIRD Pocono race. Really meant a big deal to a person like Menard whose family has tradition there, but to a good majority of the NASCAR drivers just a boring azz races that pays very well.
