Bristol Bonehead

How about the economy/whatever reasons you want to claim that there were so many empty seats at Bristol? It use to be the hardest ticket to get and now it looked like they couldn't even give seats away.

Agreed. I have only seen that happen one other time that I can remember - but still, the sidepipe issue is one that should (and probably will) be addressed. NA$$CAR addressed the splitter cutting tires with minimal contact issue. I just hope that they can act a bit more quickly on this issue.

Lots of reasons. Rainy Weather Forecast, Recent Tornadoes throughout the region, High Gas Prices, High Hotel Prices, Less Disposable Income, Unemployment, etc. And then there is a segment of fans who don't like the track anymore (boo-hoo). It's hard to blame it on one thing.

But the empty seats were quite obvious - and can't be too encouraging for NA$$CAR.

Yup, I didn't want to get this thread off track with who or what is at fault since there are so many reasons. It just a sad sight to see.
 
The lack of a large metropolitan area near Bristol amplifies the high cost of gas due to most fans having to travel several hours to get there. Also fans are probably choosing the August race due to being unable to afford both races.
 
It ain't Bristol, but after Mario Gosselin plunked down the money for some action in Poke county, he probably thought that getting the bonehead thing was a sure thing.

Kole Kahne (Kasey's spotter) and Regan Smith for being way to agressive for lap 24 of 500.

Well I don't think either approach will work. He's going to stick to his guns on his anger toward Regan. And that's fine. At least he cares and is a loyal fan. :)

Brendan said he lost his brakes and that's why he got I to Stewart. He apologized to Stewart so with that I have to flip flop and say the boneheaded move is....Kasey Kahne and his spotter. He waited just a little to long to jump up and unfortunately Smith was there. I like Kasey and he's got a lot of work to do in the points. He's only 17 ahead of Vickers! I know it's early, but he's got to turn it around. He hasn't made it through a race with a clean car yet.
