Bristol cup thread

IMO, it's often about how a person's favorite drivers finish more than about the quality of racing but that's their prerogavtive, I suppose.

In that case I have to change my 8 to a zero cause my guy sucked...And that doesn't include my fantasy team.

*facepalm

Couldn't have said it better myself! lol

I'm sorry, but the Sprint girls crack me up. It's their job to stand there and nod. Yes, nod.

If you think they are funny you should see the Monster Energy Girls in Supercross. They stare at the camera and don't even nod. Hell, they barely even blink!

NASCAR Sprint Cup Racing on FOX posted a 4.0/10 overnight/fast rating/share Sunday afternoon for the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway, up +3% over last year’s 3.9/9 for the same race despite airing opposite the NCAA TOURNAMENT. Yesterday’s increase marks the first time this season that a NASCAR event on FOX has posted a year-to-year increase. Through four races, NASCAR on FOX is averaging a 5.3/11 in the meters, now off -7% from last year’s 5.7/12.(3-19-2012)

Hmmmmmm...

I contributed to the increase in TV viewers...

Normally I would have been at the track but I am one of the 80K that let go of their tickets. For me it was the cost of lodging that finally drove me away. I love the racing of the new Bristol track.
