It is considered "retro" now. A lot of kids grew up with it like I grew up with the NES so they remember it as one of those things every kid had. I hate it because the idiots are driving up on the price on old consoles. Last time I went shopping for older games I saw N64s marked up to $70 when they were going for less than $20 a year ago.
It is a shame they haven't made a good NASCAR game since about 2005, the new ones are terrible. My friend had a recent one for his Xbox 360 and I was able to ride around on a flat tire for 10 laps and pass the entire field. He complained because I was "cheating" by turning off all the assists too, not my fault I know how to drive without auto braking.
He also wouldn't race me at Martinsville, his excuse was: "Why the hell would I only want to go 80mph?". Oh and he wrecked a car every time he got a little behind then got mad about me pitting every yellow flag. I was like hey man, if you're going to wreck everything in sight I'm topping up on fuel and getting four fresh tires, I can pass the field in one lap anyway.
