Bristol Nationwide

Cup driver wins in Nationwide, thanks to the 88 car

And some sick joke from the racing gods, Keselowski finishes 3rd.

Regardless of what series Ragan runs in, Good win by one of the Good guys for a change. No punk tearing up guitars in victory lane tonite. Just a solid race car driver bringing it home!!!

Way to go David!!!

Congrats to David Ragan. I don't mind him winning as a "cup regular" esp. since he's not one of the "top guns" in Cup and he isn't running for the championship as far as I know. I think Carl and Kyle need to GET OUT OF THERE and only run occasional races. Why all the crap about rookie drivers and those who don't drive as well as Cup drivers when they're in what is supposed to be the development series? Most Cup drivers don't agree with it either. They can run enough to keep it interesting, let the less experienced guys get a taste of what it's like to run with the Cup guys, but don't take over the whole frigging series. It's ridiculous. FWIW

I hope Schrub wins at Martinsville and tears up the grandfather clock;)

I hate to say it but that would be awesome. Run up to it and give it a flying drop kick. Or run into it with the car.

Too bad Regan can't drive a cup car like that. Send him back to the minors where he belongs.

Im just watching the race now. Trying not to get ahead and spoil it.

I will say that Harvick should of been black flaged. He just plan wrecked someone he was not even racing. I did not see the Kyle Busch wreck. But If it is ok for the leader to flat out wreck a car he is trying to lap. Then if its a racing deal and someone wrecks the leader? Harvick spining the 99 was no racing deal. They were just trying to hang on and race for postion and stay on the lead lap. They was holding their lines. The flag does not mean move over. it means HOLD YOUR LINE. The leader has to get around you. and that does not mean wreck.

If that was the case Dale Sr. would have been black flagged a zillion times.

I wouldn't expect anything less from him and you. I'll bet someone will wring Shrubs neck if he attempts to tear up the clock. One thing is for sure, he needs to win Martinsville first.

"This is the "courtesy" flag or the "move over" flag. It is the only flag that is optional. A driver may, at his discretion, ignore this flag.

It is displayed to a car (or group of cars) to let them know that the leaders are coming up behind them and that should be courteous and move over to let the leaders race.

Again, this flag is optional... However, NASCAR takes a dim view of anyone who repeatedly and without a darn good reason ignores it."

How long is a leader supposed to wait while 2 cars fighting for say 27th hold him up? While the 2nd place car eats up the lead he's worked to get?
Short track racing involves the bump and run, the chrome horn or whatever you want to call it.

Who should have been black flagged was Wallace. With all the bumping and close racing at Bristol you don't have to be a genius to know it was only a matter of time before that bar went into someones radiator.

But the car he wrecked was on the inside. He could not move over! So the car on the outside should of let him get by and let the leaders go?

I don't see how one week you can stick up for harvick spining someone and tearing up two racecars. (could of been worse)
Yet call Robby Gordon an idiot for wrecking Joey and taping the 12 a year weeks ago. Double standard to me ;)

Robby Gordon came up on lap traffic while leading a race? I didn't know that.:D

yep, still can't figure that one out.
