And here we go! Now if only they'd despense with the rediculous non-race pre-race and go racing.

Glad they got rid of the crappy format they hhad last year.
 
You can usually blane mikey for wrecks that he's involved in, but was newman's doing
 
Wait a minute wait a minute! They distinctly said at the beginning of the coverage tonight, when they were talking about the format, that "the race must end under a green flag"

Gordon didn't bump draft he just pushed Biffle all the way into the turn and NEVER let up. Pretty rookie move for a 4 time champ.
 
Harvick on victory lane also said that even the entry blank said that the race must end under green.

Boo to nascar and fox for letting the race fans down....again.
 
Didn't catch any of the pre-race gab, so I didn't hear anyone talk of the rules. I just read on Jayskis site the format and it said all green and caution laps will be counted. That appears to be the same format as any regular race. Regardless, that whole issue is moot now. Congrats to Kev. Didn't do my pick 10 any good. No pole pick and only two in the top ten and out of order. At least I'm not in last place because one guy didn't submit his lineup. Now I have to study for my fantasy lineup.
 
Did FOX tone down Digger somewhat? I saw him a few times but I can't say I remember DW mentioning his name. Are the executives at FOX starting to listen to the fans. FOX executives probably held a meeting prior to the race to inform DW..... 'OK DW, we're still going to let your little rodent run out on to the screen a few times a race so you can sell you shirts but let's back er down a notch this year!' It seems now that he's moved on to Danica.
 
Somewhat tame race considering the format but good racing and it leaves me wondering if there's such a thing a best car at a plate race. It sure doesn't seem like it.

Suppose Nascar will listen to Waltrip and have one of these per month :rolleyes:
